Since 2004 my husband and I have spent our Winter at the Secret Garden Inn. My husband died of Cancer in 2011 and i was - due to very caring friends returned to Bali and after a stay in Benoa - to the Inn - the Owners and the Staff were so caring - I overcame my reluctance and relaxed...

If your ideal vacation is just drinking and partying and you don't care about the comfortness and cleaness of your room, then this is ideal place for you. But if you want to relax on your vacation and have a decent room, then you should avoid this place. The room is not very clean, the bathroom smelled funny, there was...

Terrible hotel. NO SHOWER! Just a shower head coming off the wall over the toilet. We to use the kettle in the room and there were spiders living in it. Didn't get to use much of the facilities as we checked out pretty fast.

The Secret Garden Inn is a quite little hotel in the back alleys between Poppy's Lane 1 and Poppy's Lane 2. Quite a small little complex but it has everything that you could possibly ask for. The staff are very friendly, the bed is comfortable and the noise levels are very minimal for where the hotel is situated in Kuta....

I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Kuta. It's always so nice to arrive to my home away from home and be welcomed from the staff, most of which have been here since it opened over a decade ago. It upsets my seeing bad reviews (not that there are many). You get more than what you paid for here...

Nice little budget Hotel just off the bustle of dirty Poppies 1. The Pros: Rooms clean & large, staff helpful, lovely clean refreshing pool (noisy if kids in it as sound echoes), feels safe once inside, large fridge, flat screen TV (very few channels - mostly Indonesian), breakfast adequate , fresh & tasty with eggs done any way, toast, fruit,...

Good place to stay in Kuta if you are on a budget. We stayed in the standard room on the first floor. The rent was IDR 350,000/~USD 27 per day. The hotel is on Popies Lane I, just opposite to Asana Agung Putra hotel. or near Kuta Town House (in case if you can't find it on the map). Pros:...

This is really a hidden gem: a haven of peace in the middle of hectic Kuta (in a side lane of Poppies I; once you're inside, you hear nothing of the craziness all around, so a good sleep is guaranteed), ideal to recover from the jetlag and to adjust to the tropical climate or just to relax for a few...
