Leading through crowded and narrow lanes a door opens right into a serene heaven! Inside it's absolute bliss. There's no traffic noise or pollution. The huts are simply too beautiful. Each with it's own outdoor space to have breakfast and lounge with enough privacy. The bathroom's amazingly designed. Very huge, ethereal with all basic amenities. We ordered their room service...

For me the only reason to be in Kuta is because you're in transit somewhere else - perhaps Ubud, or one of the other islands or maybe flying home. There's not much more I can add to what is already written here. Walking through the gate at Poppies is to be transported into a much nicer Bali: the lush gardens...

We first came to Poppies in the mid-80s, and fell in love with its customized charm and location. Now, 30 years later, it has only improved. The service is friendly and efficient, the location and facilities remain perfect, and the room service and food leave you with no reason to leave. We did rent a car and driver for tours,...

Imagine being right where the action is, but when you walk through two doors you are transported into a green oasis and all you can hear are birds chirping and frogs ribbeting. Well that's what you get at poppies. The grounds are magnificent and feel like you are in a Forrest. It really is very quiet given that it is...

I really didn't want to go to Kuta but my partner heard of a mythical Quicksilver shop where you pick your fabric and they make your boardies in 20 minutes. Luckily we stayed here, it was incredible to be smack bang in the middle of Kuta but not hear any noise. All of the bungalows are very private, the pool...

We stopped here for lunch on another warm day in Kuta. The restuarant has that peaceful calming effect on you when you enter. The plants and water features help you to relax and forget about the motorbikes and sellers on the streets outside. The food was great and worth that little extra. We will be back here next time we...

This review is on the restaurant. We have not stayed at the hotel before. After a long walk around Kuta, it is a joy to get out of the heat by going to poppies restaurant. It is located in a little lane off the main road. First timers may find it hard to find, but most of the locals in...

We were greeted by a friendly driver at the airport and we checked in for 3 nights. The cottage was lovely, with lots of traditional Balinese details, a dining area, a sunken bath and shower, patio with chairs and table with coffee making equipment and a comfy bed. The pool and gardens were really pretty, decorated with many statues and...

We stayed in one of their cozy cottages with king size bed. The room is so lovely where you will really feel at home. We were treated well by the friendly staff. The food is amazing. My husband and I are really looking forward to visit here again on our second honeymoon.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, centrally located in Kuta. The pool is designed to provide you with a sense of privacy. So relaxing inside the friendly walls. Morning tea, and bananas are placed on the veranda to help get your day started. The staff is so helpful with directions, history and suggestions.
