Merusaka Nusa Dua has garnered mixed reviews for its value, with praise for its all-inclusive deals but some criticism over the high prices of food and beverages. While the rooms are noted for being spacious and clean, with coveted amenities like private pool access, there are suggestions they could benefit from updating and maintenance. The hotel's serene location is frequently highlighted for its beach proximity and nearby shopping and dining.
Service is a high point, as staff are commended for their warmth, though some guests have experienced slow service. The tranquil atmosphere, cleanliness, and amenities like the pools and dining options receive positive remarks, despite some noted areas for improvement.

The communication btw LE and the hotel was tops as nothing mentioned in the package was amiss.
Return airport tsfs included was great and on time. Check in was smooth and we were able to check in few hrs before check in time. The resort was clean, however rooms do need a bit of maintenance, especially the aircon that needed servicing and maintenance as it was cold enough even though it was on 16°C and constantly dripping water onto the floor below. The bathroom was huge but had like a sewage smell occasionally. The staff are courteous and friendly, always willing to help. The pools needed more shade especially from the scorching hot sun. Breakfast at Gading was good. We dined a few times as Homaya and 1 time at Ja'Jan Bistro. Quite nice food at Homaya but Ja'Jan food was a let down with the seafood platter and desserts. Overall, due to the amount we paid for an 8 days package it was well worth it. Bottles of water was provided daily for drinking and rinsing after brushing our teeth so we won't need to use the tap water. 4 cans of soft drinks were replenished daily. We will be back again if there is such a great deal package again, but then my child will be 12 yrs old then and that's when it could get quite expensive having to pay extra for her.

Stayed here for 5 days during Christmas.
Check in was very efficient.
Stayed in a pool access room. Spacious room however not much room to put belongings (no draws and limited hanging space in wardrobe).
Housekeeping came by every night before dinner time to check if anything was needed/missing. They were happy to provide additional items needed (e.g body lotion, shower gel, coffee pods etc).
Breakfast was great. Alot of variety and different cuisines. Coffee and a some juices were available at breakfast for no additional cost.
We did not eat at the restaurants other than at breakfast but we did have 2 meals by the pool, and room service once which were great. Food prices were very reasonable for such a resort.
We chose to have our dinners at Bali Collection which had alot of restaurants (and shopping). Once out of the resort gate, it was literally a 2 min walk. The walk down the resort driveway from the lobby was longer, but you can request a buggy to take you to the main gate.
There were several levels of the main pools, all amazing. We found that the main pool temperature was quite warm due to no shaded areas (and we were informed no rain for the past month). But in saying that, all day beds had umbrellas so plenty of shade to sit under.
Plenty of day beds facing the beach also. Great beach to swim in, very clean.
We found the gym to be a let down. For such an amazing resort I expected more. It was very small, and could probably accomodate no more than 4-5 people before it being crowded.
The overall resort was immaculate and very well maintained.
We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to revisiting.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
Inaya Putri Bali is a resort managed by Indonesian corporate and proudly put Indonesian elements in the building, uniform, amenities and so on. Not forget to mention that once they sanitized the room then they sealed the door, so prior we enter the room, the staff open the seal in front of us and ensure that no one enter the room before. We also require to wear mask in every public spaces and kudos to all staff who wear mask and face shield all the day. This is a super important feature that we need to highlight when we travel during pandemic. We stayed at the two bedroom suite, located at the 1st floor with direct access to pool. The room is spacious and elegant. A very nice room if you travel with friends or family. A coffee maker, complimentary mini bar are prepared in the room. We loved the bathroom, so relaxing and the coconut-scent bathroom amenities are to die for!
We enjoy breakfast at Gading, they served breakfast ala carte, due to low occupancy and you can order everything until your stomach is full. The breakfast come in medium-bite sizes, but this is fine because we can taste almost every choices they offer. My kid loves the pancake with honey dip! In the evening, we also have dinner and I must admit their chicken kungpao and seafood dish (I forgot the name) is soo delectable, the fish and chips is also become my little one's favorite.
As this is a beachfront resort, we walk to the beach and enjoy the windy breeze and see some locals who play football.
Overall, this escape truly recharge our energy and we would love to back to Inaya Resort Bali.

We spent 10 days at the resort and had a lovely relaxing time.
I would highly recommend the villas, which are separate from the other accommodation and have a private courtyard and pool (as well as access to a villa-only larger pool).
The staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. The resort is in a great location, only a 5 minute walk to the Bali Collection, and has direct access to the beach (very clean, with warm clear water).
A very nice place to stay.

My family has been coming back to this hotel annually since 2017. Very clean hotel with friendly staff and great facilities. Breakfast buffet is a must with a selection of Asian and European treats. The swimming pools are well maintained and location is smack bang in the middle of nusa dua making it easy to access everything. Great value for 5 stars compared to the older branded hotels in the area. Keep up the good work 😁🤙🏼

A reception that would put grand ballrooms to shame. Beautiful expansive grounds typical of Nusa Dua resorts with lovely seafront. That's all a front. The rooms were small, blocks facing each other so guests looked into each others' rooms and all staff we met said we already had the best rooms there. Low quality fittings and furniture, poor layout and third world design and the floors were dirty. After the stunning villas of Trans resort and the suites of the Plataran where we had stayed for the last few weeks in Bali, we thought Nusa Dua would be an upgrade, but every minute in the room was unbearable. F&B was a mixed bag. There was a older waiter who was good and a young man who served me for dinner who was outstanding. The Kaki Kambing he recommended was the best dish we've had in Bali. But sadly there was this waitress we had for lunch and breakfast who, like the designer of the rooms, has probably never traveled in her life. Everything she said diminished whatever respect the other staff had gained for the hotel. I personally don't fancy poultry and I don't like plastic bottles because they are not eco-friendly. So first I asked if instead of chicken noodles whether I can have seafood noodles instead. She came back with 'we can't change the chicken unless we add 3 little prawns we have, but they come at a price'. When I asked for warm water, she said 'we only serve paid bottled water, would you like the large or small bottle?'. In the morning I asked if we can see the breakfast sets, she replied; 'breakfast is not included in your stay, so you can only have the menu where you have to pay item by item'. I couldn't believe I was hearing all this. Did they think anyone would pay for a 5-star resort only to gain advantage in a few extra ingredients on the menu or try and get some free water? This kind of mentality I had not encountered in my life. We had originally planned to stay for three weeks like at the Plataran, but after this sad experience we high-tailed it after breakfast back to true world class resorts.

Dear Adam P, Thank you for taking a moment to detail your recent experience. While we enjoyed reading you liked our Sop Kaki Kambing, we regret to hear you experienced service hiccups. We sincerely apologize for our lack of genuine care and comfort. We have communicated this to our team to investigate further and address immediately so that this does not happen again.
Nevertheless, in regards to our rooms, please be informed that aside from Deluxe room, we do have Suite and Villa that might be more to your liking, based on your previous experiences. We regret to learn that unfortunately this information was not communicated well to you during your stay. Although our Deluxe room is considered pretty spacious amongst the same category, with its 48sqm floor space, our Suite and villa has double as well as triple the space. Kindly visit our website to find out more about our room types, if you are keen to know more. All in all, your valuable feedback is very important for our growth and effort to maintain the quality of our resort. We do hope that one day, you will give us another chance to regain your trust, in delivering an exceptional experience that is in keeping with both your standard and ours. Best Regards, INAYA Putri Bali Management

I’m very disappointed with the Inaya Putri Bali hotel. Our room was old and hadn’t been maintained, even though it is only 5 years old. There was mould growing in the shower which management told us was the colour of the grout. The cushions on the bed have stains. The lift to go up to room has no aircon, and the building hallways are enclosed and there is no ventilation or air con. There are cracks all over the concrete of the outside of the building, the water in lagoon access pools is green and murky. We were traveling with an 8 month old baby and I had an email confirmation we would have a cot in our room. We were checked into our room for 2 hours and I called twice for a cot. Then I was told they had no available cots. After speaking to the manager we had 2 cots bought to our room even though we only needed one. We asked for one to be taken away, however when we went to put our baby to sleep we realized the porta cot mattress slats were broken. Our room was literally as far from the pool and breakfast as they could have placed us- the walk to leave our room was long and there was no shade, it’s like a long open concrete tunnel everyone has to follow. We did complain as we had paid $270 a night for the room and had higher expectations, the manager was nice but not willing or able to do anything to help other than tell us if we wanted to leave we could.
This is not a 5 star hotel, it’s a joke they are charging 5 star prices. If you have any form of expectations do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. If you can get a cheap enough deal for $100 a night it would be ok to stay at, but when you pay premium prices you expect more than what we got!

The villas are AMAZING, the private pool and then the lagoon pool, an absolute slice of heaven. Most times we had the lagoon to ourselves, so beautiful. The bathrooms are just beautiful, have to see to believe.
The butler team lead by Wira are superb. Nothing is too much trouble for them and always with a smile. Even when you’ve made too much of the free cocktails, they will drive you back to your villa, no problem 😃
The cleaning team are incredible and the little notes and towel designs they leave make you smile every day
All the staff in the dining area are friendly, but keep an eye out for the exceptional Dedi and Hary- best asset of Inaya. These guys (as do all the staff) make sure you are 100% happy at all times.
The food, ok, the buffet breakfast is mammoth. Indonesian, Indian, Japanese, western, fruit, egg station, pastries, you name it, it’s there. The free afternoon tea is a really lovely ritual and the free cocktails are a great time to have fun with the staff. They occasionally have a quartet who come and play requests - Those are the best nights.
Free shuttle to Bali Collection and many restaurants will drive you home after dinner. I can not say enough about this resort. If you want to treat yourself and have the holiday of a lifetime- you need to come here.

It's a perfect stay.
I stayed at the Inaya Putri Bali one bedroom pool villa with a recommendation from Agoda.com.
I loved the private pool and the lagoon pool for the villa guests.
And it's very reasonable price.
I arrived a little earlier than check-in time, but Butler immediately escorted me to the villa and checked in inside the villa.
Although the villa's bedroom was a little bit small size, there were very fond of the well-equipped private pool.
Private beach on Nusa Dua was very nice.
The villa is a good location 5 minutes walking distance from Bali collection.
In check-in time, the villa guest benefit was informed of free minibar, afternoon tea and cocktail time.
Welcome gifts included eye patch and massage supplies, and cookies and nuts. they were delicious.
Especially, it was Butler team who gave me great satisfaction in this stay.
All butlers, including supervisor Angga, were very friendly and kind.
And they responded immediately to my requests.
Many butlers such as supervisors Angga, Butler Oka, Andi and Sicily have made my stay more happier.
I sincerely want to thank them.
I want to visit here soon.

+1
I tried 2 types of rooms, Deluxe and Villa Luxury. Deluxe rooms is very large compare to others of hotels, like seriously large. Got large hot tub, and bathroom as well. And the bed is quiet comfort. And the location is very near with the main location of the Hotels and Resort. For Villa Luxury, this is the best experience I have ever had and with my wife, the private pool is beautiful and it can be connected to the river pool and it is quite large as well, very private. The location is not too far from the main location of the resorts, so we ordered several dishes from room service, and we tried the taste is amazing. I recommend for min. to stay like 3 nights to enjoy all of the services in this hotel and resort. I stayed on my birthday, then the staffs gave us a little cake to celebrate it!

Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand15 contributions9 helpful votesCan anyone please tell me where the club lounge is located. Suites and Villas state they come with Club Benefits but I can't see a club lounge anywhere on the resort maps I've seen. I understand breakfast is in a different location for the club but just checking where evening cocktails are served please. Any photos would be fab :)
We had a suite we didn’t have a lounge but cocktails and canapés were served outside at the bar area. For breakfast you use the smaller restaurant next to the main dining room. I think you can have cocktails served any where as long as you give them your room no.
