It was our 6th hotel during our honeymoon roadtrip in Bali. We spent only one night there but everything was amazing. The staff was adorable, the room was absolutely beautiful, traditionnal indonesian style, the bathroom was gigantic and their restaurant La Tartine is very good....More
Puri Tempo Doeloe is a lovely place to stay for people who love peace and quietness during their stay in Sanur, Bali.
The resort has individual villas providing old style wooden construction which at times makes noise while walking.
The breakfast is interesting although insufficient...More

Close to the Matahari Terbit Beach sanur (Very beautiful Sunrise).

As the others have said- there are a few steps up to the cottages- think ours had 4, once up there though we were on the flat- ours did not have any door frames to climb over. The bathroom is huge however, only you can decide if the steps up are an issue for you. Another thing to consider is the paths around the gardens are not particularly flat, and the doors into the café where breakfast is served are not particularly wide. It may be worth asking about the private villas- they may not have the steps up to them. Do ask the hotel if in doubt, they are very helpful.
