I have been going to this place for years - even in the old days when it was a homestay cafe! Food presentation is excellent, always full of flavour and not expensive. The menu is an Asian Western fusion, with interesting little touches. Complimentary hot bread and small starter. The hardest thing is choosing, so I usually return 2 or...

Everything on the menu is amazing!! Special mentions to the laksa, duck breast and thinly sliced beef. It doesn't look like much from the street, but walk in and be dazzled by beautiful settings and spectacular foods. I have never had a bad meal here and always go at least twice per visit to Bali.

We didn't have a reservation do took a chance on a table and are glad we did. The service, ambiance and food was fab. I'm a vegetarian and very picky but found lots of choices and we thought it was great value. The staff were efficient but not in our faces. Highly recommend , we'll be going back.

Rooms are clean and newish but very basic, no top sheet or douvet on the bed just a bottom sheet and pillows in pillow cases but it's so warm in Bali who needs any more, the gardens are well kept and at £4 a night you can't complain.

This is only a restaurant now by the looks of it but it's still worth trying for the scrummy value for money meals. I think reviewers here, my partner included, may get confused with the identically named posher restaurant opposite. So some of the reviews for here might be on their listing. Nevertheless this is laid back, friendly and worth...

I had dinner here for my birthday after reading all the wonderful reviews on trip advisor. This restaurant exceeded every expectation! The service was gold standard and the food was superbly scrumptious! The servings were perfect and the complimentary bread and appetizer were a nice touch, a perfect seque into each dish. The staff sang happy birthday at the end...

Was a great and super cheap room for a couple of nights. Great breakfasts! Thanks to the guys, Eka and Bagus. Now, totally remodeled, there is much more sitting room, but no rooms. Still, make sure to make a reservation for dinner here... very nice food and setting.

Kayu Manis, a true hidden treasure. Decor, simple, limed timbers create a feeling of space, class, modern style. Menu, hard to choose with such tantalizing flavors, not too busy though. Highly recommend the Cappuccino of Berlotti bean and shrimp, it is a SOUP, amazing. The Niçoise salad, fish were incredible, presentation high standard. Chef takes time to meet ad greet....

The rooms surround a quiet courtyard, the beach is 5 minute walk awaygreat restaurant on site or if you are on a budget the night market is 2 minutes away or try the green leaf cafe on...
