Stayed here for 4 nights,it has lovely gardens, and is in a perfect location for Sanur shops and restaurants. Our standard room was no more than a cheap highway motel room, the bathroom had a blocked sink, grouting missing from tiles,a flush that would'nt turn off, etc, yes i think that means the rooms need a major make over.Choice at breakfast wasnt very good, nor was the...

Just got back from 4 nights at Besakih. We stayed in a Superior Bungalow which was quite, spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal - right on the beach and very close to shops etc . There is also terrifc views of the beach whilst lounging around the pool or sitting at the restaurant. The pool was nice and staff...

This was our first time in Sanur and I am really glad we picked the Besakih. The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping staff are friendly and always welcoming. The hotel room itself was a bit tired and in need of some care, but for the price we paid, felt the hotel was great. Sure there are a...

We paid $1120 for 10 nights at Besakih in a superior room with free Brekky.ok the bed hard but that could happen anywhere. While the room was cleaned each day the bathroom had mold on every wall. The Besakih is very old and in need of a face lift, but in saying that the rooms are always booked out. The...

I love staying at Besakih. Its the whole environment that makes it so enjoyable. The rooms are not that great but good enough for a pleasant stay and the air conditioning works well and there's plenty of water in the shower. But its not the room that makes a stay here so enjoyable. Its lovely walking through the hotel gardens,...

we have been visiting Bali for nearly 30 years and have tried various hotels around Sanur and have settled on Besakih as being the choice . The hotel is a little sad and needs a facelift but the staff are warm, kind caring and just so lovely and genuine with smiling faces. they come and sit and chat and we...

Our first time in Sanur at this hotel. Hotel is in great location on beach. The pathway on the beach allows access to all restaurants etc. lovely at night and makes a change to the restaurants along the street. The staff are friendly but the rooms are very much in need of some attention. We arrived very late the first...

The besakih is is a wonderful loaction and this combined with the staff is its saving grace - these two things are the only reason you stay here. The owners of the hotel spend NOTHING on maintenance or improvements and we know this as we have been staying here for 10 years - the same toilets still have the same...

Nice staff, nice location that's about it. Disappointed this time as it's really rundown and needs a good clean. Nice and quiet and that's probably because less and less people like it. Getting a seat around the pool is a big problem too, even though it says the towels put on the chairs from early morning will be removed if left...
