We stayed a Laghawa at the beginning and end of our trip to Bali this year. As others have stated there are some great things about this hotel and some not so. We also had to upgrade our room on arrival. Room was very old and little things missing like bath mat, hand towels and nowhere in shower to put...

I'm giving 5 stars solely for the staff.. They are friendly, helpful and happy.. Rooms are ok.. Pool is so good and big.. Location perfect.. Backs onto beach.. Skip and a hop to Hardys.. I went down to Koa Boutique Spa for an amazing 2.5 hour package.. Thanks Laghawa I will return..

First time staying here due to heading to Lembongan in two days.. Great wee spot.. Very friendly and helpful staff.. It's a good price at $50 so don't expect the ritz.. The pool area is exactly what I craved of a day lazing in the sun reading.. Enough poolside loungers which sometimes isn't the case in other spots.. Breakfast fine,...

Have stayed in Sanur many times and enjoyed our time at Laghawa. Booked online as we usually do but this has its flWs as you can't actually see the location of the room. When we arrived decided that we would rather pay a bit e the and upgrade. This was no problem and our new room was prefect. We like...

For $50 a night it was fine. I'll readily admit first impressions weren't great, the entrance looked old and dusty, but it opened up to the reception that was traditional Balinese. Restaurant was also nice, breakfast was good. The rooms were pretty dark and outdated, the bathrooms were average. But we never spend too much time in our rooms so...

The rooms at Laghawa are fairly basic/simple, but they are clean and have some lovely touches. The personal patio at every room and the intricately carved doors lend a special touch. The grounds are lovely and the pool and walk to the beach are so nice. The sunrise from the hotel beach is absolutely STUNNING. The rooms have AC. The...

The location is fantastic. Right in the heart of Sanur and on the beach side where sun loungers are for free and with a great bar which serves delicious food, coffees and drinks. The hotel has lovely gardens and lots of Balinese statues and shrines. Be aware of what room you book though. Some are very dark, gloomy and smell...

The hotel is on a strip from the road to the beach. The rooms are old, but large, with good A/C. The bathroom was a bit dated. The grounds are beautiful, plenty of room to walk around the garden, a swimming pool, and private access to the beach. Wifi was free, but then again it didn't reach to the room,...

The bad - Filthy, badly maintained, old, poor breakfast. The linen in my first day had weird stains, pillow cases had lipstick and…God knows what else and I guess I know why (see The Ugly). WI-FI is pure rubbish, to an extent to be unusable. The ugly – room adjacent to mine was use as a brothel, with hotel guards...
