Apart from the whimsical buildings that are themselves an architectural wonder worth wandering over to Bambu Indah for, this place is a playground for all ages. As you explore the property you cannot help feeling a sense of child like wonder as the paths unfurl to reveal buildings braided in bamboo, twisting curving in ways you wouldn't imagine a building...

I visited this place for a drink and dinner this time, been there several times before for drinks or to visit friends staying there. First of all, how can an Eco place serve meat? Have they not heard of the impact of meat on the environment? I had a raw lasagna which didn't look or taste like a lasagna (try...

This is not an overstatement. This hotel is entirely different from anything else I have experienced before, and better, more inspiring in every respect. Heads above any 5- resorts and their clumsy attemps to elegance and uniqueness. Here the rooms aren't quite hotel rooms. The old wooden houses are stages in which to experience traditional indonesian life and art. Two...

Words can simply not do it justice! It's not just the resort which was designed with unique style and pieces of furniture from Indonesia and other travels. Rach bungalow/accomodation has its quirky, stylish, surprising uniqueness to it (from a treehouse looking like a space pod to a room under the star by the river). It is also the people that...

We lived our stay at Bambu Indah. The structures built from bamboo are visually stunning, the bridal huts are quaint and the natural pools are beautiful to swim in. The restaurant is also wonderful - we had seriously great food. It's the kind of place where you can come and stay, and hardly need to leave. It's expensive, but so...

I stayed at Bambu Indah a few nights ago and was so blown away by the beauty of the place. Rustic traditional bungalows, amazing gardens and views, the only thing I was disappointed about on my stay was the fact that we were unable to have access to go down to a particular swing (over the river) that I was...
