My girlfriends and I met in Bali and stayed in Kebun Indah. The price was great. We had the Padi 1 and Padi 2 which is the whole top floor of the very beautiful building. Very large space. The larger bedroom sleep two of us with a bed each. The smaller bedroom is not small, but average hotel size. The...

The three of us stayed in Mangga Madu for the first 3 nights, then moved to Terunggul (sp?) for the last 2 nights. We felt pampered the entire stay with friendly, thoughtful staff, delicious breakfast and tea service, and the soothing atmosphere of the location. Ok so my hayfever worsened there, but where else can you see adorable ducklings waddling...

We stayed this time in the only free room nr. 1, wich is cheap, but without airco. The breakfast is excellent, the garden, pool and surroundings really nice and romantic. Last time we had the beautiful teapavillionroom, with a great outdoor bathroom, and very nice terrace and room! The afteroon tea with cake is free! Always nice to be back...

At the last minute, we decided to book a night in Ubud and decided to try Kebun Indah. It's location is convenient and I was intrigued to stay at Alam's original hotel. Kebun Indah proved to be a pleasant place to spend the night. We stayed in the Mangga Madu room, which is one of the two air-conditioned rooms at...

Spent 6 wonderful nights here and stayed in the Tea House. Beautiful outdoor bathroom, great bathrobes, friendly and polite staff, amazing breakfast and afternoon tea served on the patio, quiet and peaceful. Incredible spa across the road,Jaen's, with $12 massage! Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 2-nights at the Cempaka room. Huge bathroom, changing area and balcony. The balcony overlooks rice field and you can hear the sound of flowing water while stitting on the day bed. Breakfast, which is inclusive in the room rate, is served on the balcony too. At USD50, it was worth the money. The swimming pool was tiny though but...

This hotel is a great location, close to Monkey Forest Rd and Hanoman Street, and 5 minute walk to the Yoga barn. The staff are super helpful, friendly and provide me with a welcome drink on arrival. I stayed in the Sandat room, which is the furthest room right down the back, and downstairs. Best value hotel I found on...

We stayed in the Padi room and it was wonderful. We loved the spacious rooms, forest outlook and great outdoor bathrooms. The provided bathrobes were also good to use! The location is just right, a 10min walk to yoga barn and close to shops. We used the free shuttle to lake leke (great restaurant and dance performance!) but it wasn't...

Peaceful setting next to rice fields, lovely rooms and great breakfast included in the low price. Experience the real Bali in Ubud. Close to good restaurants (The Pond) and takes about 5 to 10 minutes to walk to the monkey forest.

This review is long overdue. Stayed in the Tea House at Kebun Indah for 4 nights in March 2012. The hotel is located on a main road in Ubud. There are several restaurants and shops located within a short walk of the hotel. The Monkey Forrest is about a 15 minute walk away and the Palace and market are about...
