For the price you pay, Sania's is great. It's really central without being noisy. The architecture is stunning. It's not often you get to stay somewhere so ornate and traditional. The breakfast was lovely, the banana pancakes were my favourite. I used the laundry service which was fast and easy. Rooms are pretty basic but again, for the price you...

We originally booked 2 rooms for 3 people but when we arrived they didn't have our booking. The only room they had left was a family room but we bunked in together, we didn't mind! It was gorgeous, like a palace! The hotel is decorated with intricate stone and wood carvings. We didn't eat there Clean rooms and big bathroom....

This hotel is only saved by its lovely grounds and beautiful exteriors. However, that's where the positive comments stop. We arrived and there is no obvious reception or welcome desk. A man eventually came up to me and asked for proof of my reservation as the hotel Internet wasn't working. I showed him and he took us to the room....

This place is magical, it is like living inside of a temple! We now have been travelling south east Asia for over two months and this is easily the coolest place we've stayed so far. It was a joy waking up in the morning to look out our front door. Walking distance to everything (you are literally living in the...

Stayed here for 2 nights, beautiful building nice pool and yummy breakfast. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and accommodating. Only thing is the wifi if terrible so if that matters to you maybe not the best place. But other than that everything perfect excellent location, right on the market street and can walk to monkey sanctuary.

A hidden gem in Ubud. In the heart of the art markets, tucked away from the huzzle and buzzle, you can find my favourite place. Clean, tidy, romantic pool in front of a staircase, lovely people, pancakes to die for and a small Warung with very affordable meals enclosed. Perfect hideaway for a romantic holiday.

Palatial and very ornate accomodation in central Ubud at a bargain price Mr room no 3 next to the pool was wonderful. Friendly staff and the breakfast was lovely right on the market my advice wait til closing time at the market at about 7pm for bargains I paid 100,000 for a sarong but at closing time it was 20,000....

I really enjoyed my stay here at Sania's Bungalows. The place was at the heart of ubud markets. You can't go in front of the bungalow as it won't be accessible by car or motorbike, you must walk in to get there. The atmosphere captures the traditional side of bali, where the people that walk there are balinese themselves. There...

The architecture and surroundings at Sania's are stunning - lush gardens, swimming pool, elaborate statuary and carved furniture, Barong masks etc. It's like being in a palace, or a temple. But behind appearances, the rooms are basic and service is sadly lacking. My bathroom had no toiletries, not even a piece of soap. The plumbing was dodgy (had to unblock...

When we arrived, we received a room with only one working outlet which was used for the lamp. We complained and then we were moved to a different room downstairs that had more usable outlets. We were in room # 9. We noticed a large amount of bees or wasps living above our room (possibly thousands). We again complained as...
