I last visited this property when it was named the Waka Namya Resort. I was worried that with the name change, maybe the standard of service had changed as well. My fears were quickly allayed when we checked in. This time my daughter and I stayed in one of the Pool Villas. I slept upstairs and she slept down. There...

This resort is old. The facility is old. But they provide free shuttle to downtown ubud everytime and everyday. The pool is not really clean, they should improve the facility at the hotel. The bed was not really comfortable since it is already old. The breakfast was just average. But they serve afternoon tea everyday for free though. We cannot...

The resort is located in a perfect part of Ubud. The rooms are clean and have great views of private pools. The bathrooms are traditional and relaxing with stand up showers and soaking tubs. Can't wait to come back next year. The staff is excellent.

My son and I had a lovely 11 nights stay at the sungu in October. We stayed in a lovely duplex villa. It was so spacious and clean. The staff of the sungu was very polite and courteous towards us. They could not do enough for us. Their free shuttle minibus into ubud town was great it was available any...

Hi, We stayed here for 5 days, in a bungalow for the 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids. We found it really good with great service and a really relaxed feel. Rooms: really nice with plenty of space, with a garden, nice inside, Balinese style, 2 storeys, so kids could have a break. Big bathroom. The hotel pool was...

We (2 adults 3 kids) stayed for 3 nights in a pool villa at Sungu. What a small lovely place. It is more like a hidden garden just steps away from buzzing Ubud. The villas are not brand new but very well kept. We had our own pool, but the main pool Is also set in the middle of the...

This a lovely resort, the setting is tranquil, it's quiet and the rooms were wonderful. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a two storey bungalow by the main pool (B2). A mezzanine level bedroom, downstairs day bed room and a stunning semi outdoor bathroom with rain shower. Nice !! The staff were very friendly.... I can't abide negative...

I guess I was not impressed by the Sungu Resort, especially having come after a few days in Seminayak. The accommodation is crying out for some TLC. Our checkin was done by a member of staff who spoke fluent English. However, we never saw him again. Other members of staff appeared a bit reticent, I imagine because of their limited...

My BF and I booked this as part of a two centre stay in Bali (3 nights Ubud/5 nights Seminyak). On arrival staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Showed us to the villa and settled us in with everything we needed to know. We were upgraded to a villa overlooking the pool which was lovely and were offered complimentary afternoon...

My wife and myself checked in here after a pleasant stay elsewhere in Ubud. The first impression we got was that the staff were either afraid to speak or lack confidence. With exception to a few staff others hardly spoke any English! The villa was beautiful, albeit a bit worn down. That didn't stop us from jumping into our own...
