The view is fantastic. It's great to relax in the pool, or view from the bathroom. It feels like someones guest house that you're using, in a good way. However, it's also someones guest house with some annoying flaws. The peeling paint and other things feel okay. The air condition that can't keep up and leaves you hot the entire... More

We booked this place without much information and it turned out to be the best experiences we could ever have in the art village Ubud. The place is in the hysterical part of the town, 15min by bicycle to the center. If you are looking for an authentic and also a luxury private resort experience with spiritual Balinese charm, this... Really beautiful little villa by the infinity-pool next to a green forest. Awesum view! Really private feeling and good service. The breakfast was made to our terrace by the time we asked (if you have some schedule book a bit earlier time then you should, ours was always 15-30 mins late). A bit outside of the center, which was nice... More

It is so calm here as it is pretty far from the Ubud main road. It has beautiful view as it is just before rice field. Friendly staffs and good food. Hey take your swimsuit as it is a perfect place to swim while you consume the beauty of the sun set. Enjoy your life!

We stayed 5 nights in Pratiwi villa/s with our two children. Although the smallest of the three Gayatri villas, Pratiwi can easily accommodate 6 people, with three bedrooms and bathrooms, a living area, kitchen and a private pool. Around the villas and pool was a lush tropical garden. The rooms and pool were decorated with frangipani flowers every day. There... More

Our family of 4 stayed in Paratiwi in August 2011. Overall we had a fantastic stay here and would recommend to any family. Gayatri is quiet, peaceful and well located. We got a good price of $300 per night and felt this was fair, I feel the list price of $450 would be a little high unless a little more... More

We stayed for 4 days and it was a relaxing experience to live in a local neighbourhood instead of a large resort for a change. The villa was very private, well appointed and the staff are extremely helpful and hospitable. The breakfasts cooked in your own kitchen are a nice touch. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean... More

My sisters in law and I stayed at the Gayatri Villa Pratiwi for 4 nights. It was the first trip to Bali for my sisters in law and my first time in a Balinese B&B villa. I was extremely pleased that the warm hospitality extended to us during our stay in Gayatri Villa left a lasting impression on my sisters... More

We stayed in Villa Amarta for 2 nights while on our honeymoon in November 2010. I'd read the amazing reviews on this site, so was expecting something pretty special, and while it was a lovely villa, we were left disappointed by several aspects of our stay. The three villas are very close together, and it would be possible to stand... More

This is the second time that I have stayed at Gayatri Villas in Sayan, Bali. Each time we were greeted at the airport by the Manager Gigih and driven through the steamy night about an hour through artisan villages and ricefields. My first experience with Gayatri was in March 2009. I was blown away....this trip proved to be even better.... More
