I have visited Gayatri Bungalows on 2015 and 2017. And I will come back again and again, since both trips were absolutely amazing! They have wide range of different rooms so you may share bigger one with friends or your other half or travel solo. The new rooms are really luxurious and in the rooms they havent renovated yet there's...

The rooms at Gayatri are gorgeous, they are all individually designed and decorated. The location is just two steps from Monkey Forest Road which has all the restaurants and shops that you need in Ubud. The staff is super friendly and as it is family owned you really feel right at home!

Gayatri Bungalows is a beautiful piece of paradise right in the centre of Ubud. The new renovated rooms are gorgeous – the design is very tasteful and modern, but still keeping that exotic vibe. The view from the top rooms is breathtaking! The food is always also very good. The banana pancakes at breakfast are the best on the island...

We stayed 3 nights in standard bungalows (not renovated). The room was next to the reception, without view to the garden or rice fields. We wished we had reserved a room with a rice field or pool view. The personnel was very helpful arranging tickets to dance performance and transportation. The breakfast was cooked to order and excellent, served to...

I just returned from Indo and stayed at Gayatri with some friends. It was fantastic! The staff are so friendly and accomodating. It was very central but felt like it was on the outskirts of town- a real bonus. The pool was always a very welcome distraction from the busy marketplace and it was my go-to place for cooling off...

Absolutely wonderful place for a couples retreat. Big well cleaned rooms in good condition. Nice breakfast with a few choices. The grounds are near Ubuds shops, restaurants and spas so you can walk anywhere. The staff's English is very good compared to many other Bali places.

Everything is lovely in this hotel. The kindness of the young staff who welcome you, who brings you your breakfast, who is washing and ironing your linen, who answers all the services you can ask for. In addition, this hotel is ideally placed for restaurants and shows and its setting is actually Balinese. Without forgetting to talk about its swimming...

Stayed in two rooms at Gayatri over the New Year! Both rooms had beautiful bed and bathrooms. Grounds are beautiful and quite interesting to look at with fountains, lilies, shrines. Main rooms are surrounded by a moat with playful fish and tadpoles. Each room had a lovely table and chairs outside to sit at for afternoon coffee, morning breakfast, evening...

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, and we just love it! The rooms are wonderful, the architecture is 100% traditional Balinese, overlooking rice paddies. Sheer paradise! Lovely staff and owners, nothing is too much trouble, always smiling and happy! The included breakfast is fantastic, no buffet lines, just fresh cooked local food served overlooking the rice paddies...

Gayatri is a wonderful family run hotel. It is close to the top end of Monkey Forest Rd but never noisy. It's down a quaint lane with views of the rice field from the swimming pool, which is very well maintained. The staff are WONDERFUL and they have a great menu which is very vegan friendly. (Hi to the staff...
