Unlike artini 2, i think artini 1 a bit run down, i was being served by a staff that not really know how to explain well. They dont have proper front desk, a bit dissappointed with the amount of money they charged

had a 10 days holiday there, and was excellent budget wise, the service was very good, the stuff helpful. though it wasn't a family friendly built, but the stuff made it easy on us, they even baby-sit our little daughter while she was asleep. in case I visit Ubud again, I will stay there. though the way they served breakfast...

First impression is a good Balinese scenery, just 3 cottages in a homstay with a family temple. Nicely located in the center of Ubud. Remarks: Just basic cottages, needing some maintenance, pushy staff (although competive offers), staff need to be better organized. Positive: good location, posibility to use the pool in Artini 2, just 50m away, real Balinese athmosfere. Overall,...

Artini 1 is a true Balinese family compound, with gorgeous ornate carved cottage rooms. It is off of Hannemon Street so its in the central part of Ubud. Ubud is a noisy, busy town, full of possibilities; yoga, art classes, meditation, good eating, day trips to beautiful temples, rice paddies etc, and more. No matter where you stay in Ubud,...

I would have to agree with the previous owner on a few of the points in the review. The setting is very Balinese with very ornate carved furnishings and doorways if you like the traditional look. The staff initially seemed very pleasant and the breakfast is simple but satisfying. The room was relatively clean - at least the sheets did...

When we first arrived at the Artini it was late evening and our first impression of the compound was that it was everything we had hoped for. Not a sterile, tourist hotel but a gorgeous, authentic Balinese family compound complete with statues, carvings, a pond, exotic greenery, thatched roofed temple buildings and gorgeous cottages with their own seating areas and...

I stayed at the Artini 1 for 2 weeks of my month long my solo adventure of Bali. If I could have I would have stayed much longer! The 3 cottages are part of a traditional balinese family compound. If you want to immerse yourself if the culture of Ubud this is the perfect place for you. It is right...
