Stayed 2 nights in standard room.....moved from another hotel which had no Balinese features at all. Liked the big terace, breakfast and ambiance. There is building work in progress but that is Bali these days. Workers even pepared my bed at night and there was an electric mosquitoe thingy supplied.

Stayed in this place for 1 night before leaving Bali. These cottages are owned by a beautiful caring, very hospitable Balinese family who have owned it for several generations. The eldest of the family is the father who is 86. He has his paintings hanging around in the foyer. The rooms are beautiful but just a bit old with curtains...

We have been staying at uma sari for the last 5 years whever we come to Ubud. The breaakfast is pf high quality. I love lthe vegatable omlet with fruir salad. There is now a good road that goes directly to monkey forest which makes location even better! Lovely view and great staff. They are going to renovate the rooms...

The staff at Uma Sari are what make it! They are so friendly, and offer a great discount on trips to the Gilli Islands! The breakfast is really nice, and the rooms are lovely! Have recommended to everyone, and will certainly be back!

The staff are so helpful at Uma Sari, they made sure my boyfriend and I had a lovely stay! The beds are really comfortable and there is also a nice pool and beautiful gardens surrounding the rooms. The only downside would be the bathrooms are a bit dated but it didn't put me off staying here at all! The location...

We were disappointed with our stay at Uma Sari. After staying at some cheaper home-stays in Ubud we wanted to treat ourselves to a bit more luxury and more expensive accommodation. Unfortunately we felt that the room was actually worse than the cheaper alternatives we had stayed in previously, certainly the bathroom was not up to standard, the toilet often...

This place is a good price and is in the centre of Ubud. The fan room I chose (not sure if they air-con rooms for higher price) was nice but there is only one ceiling fan which is not that powerful. Also, they did not replenish the things I used in the bathroom. Room is a little tatty if you...

Ubud is beautiful in general and this was a lovely little stay outside of the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to everything we needed. Walking distance from monkey forest and Ubud Palace it had a beautiful pool and lovely vibes. Nestled amongst some rice paddies, everything you needed was on your doorstep. Simple but great value for money.

We had a great stay here. The rooms are lovely and spacious with a traditional theme. The staff are excellent willing to help anytime. The free shuttle is also brilliant even though it is a very short walk to the main areas of ubud. One bad point is the noise but we were able to sleep contently through it. Even...

Hotel is located on the relatively quite Bisma Jalan which is a good choice in busy Ubud. Hotel is older style with nice gardens and rooms all have a verandah or balcony. Spacious rooms although bathroom was a little tired but no problem. Breakfast included and overall good value for money. Nice breakfast and helpful staff.

“The 4 superior rooms at the back of the hotel and by the pool are the best. The ones on the upper floor are probably best for views and not having any one above scraping chairs on the floor etc.”

“We took a standard room whereas our friends took a superior room - the difference is more than just fan/ac, the superior rooms are much brighter with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a terrace, and have nice furniture. But standard is quite OK too.”
