I loved it there! It's beautiful and the family is so nice. I learned a lot about Bali's culture and history and even got taught how to meditate :) The Bungalow was totally new and the breakfast the best i had on my tour. I also liked the surroundings very much. It's not that busy as it is in Ubud...

Very very nice and friendly family takes care of this place. Big rooms and wonderfull terraces with a little kitchen space. You can share breakfast together with the other guest and it´s a good way to come in touch with them. We have stayed there 2 times.

Santra Putra is a run by a delightful Balinese family. It is delightfully situated on a laneway with no car access, away from the intense touristy vibe of downtown Ubud, although it is a 25 minute walk away. The rooms are scattered throughout a spacious garden setting giving plenty of peace and privacy. The rooms are large and light with...

Staying at the Santra Putra Guesthouse will make you feel at home in Bali. Karja, Made and his family are wonderful people who truly care about their guests. The location is private and well off the busy congestion of Ubud. Surrounded by rice paddies and the gentle murmur of village life.

Karja is simply fantastic. His place is magic. Clean, beautiful garden, nice rooms, gentle staff. Great breakfast, in a word, amazing! Book in advance. Located in Penestanan, in a quiet place, close to Ubud.

Santra Putra 2 Guest House with the Karja Art Space is a fabulous place to stay. The breakfasts are delightful with fresh fruit and tasty food, eaten on a long communal table looking out into the luscious garden. The setting is marvelous. This is a place where you actually get to know a Balinese family and get to know more...

Stayed here for a week doing a retreat. The accommodation was lovely, very clean and the gardens lush. It is a family run business and the people working there were always friendly and helpful. Karja who owns this is an artist and has a gallery where you can view his fabulous artwork. His art and skill as a teacher take...

I loved the 6 weeks I stayed here in 2012 for a yoga teacher training. I love the family that owns Santra Putra, and they take great care of the grounds. I felt very safe and comfortable here. The location is a doable walk into the hussle of town, but I enjoy this area of Ubud much more. Amazing walks...

I spent four nights here and easily could have enjoyed longer. As the bungalows have small kitchens and are not far from the Bintang supermarket this would be a great place to stay longer term. The bungalows are clean and open, most have upstairs views of the pleasant garden and you can hear birds singing all day. Good breakfasts and...

This was our first time in Bali. We wanted a memorable trip and a taste of local life in Ubud. On a friend's recommendation we booked Santra Putra Guest House. The property is located in a pretty village area, some 15 minutes walk from the main street of Ubud. We enjoyed the simple breakfasts, traditionally furnished rooms and wandering around...
