Before coming to Ubud we stayed three nights in three different accommodations in Amed, in the same price category. In comparison Saudara Home was by far the best. It is a very well designed and decorated Family Home Stay set up, targeting French speaking guests, some 20 minutes drive out of Ubud in the middle of Rice Terraces. A perfect...

Beautiful hotel, with lovely and friendly staff. The owner Albert, will do his best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He also has plenty of advice for things to do and visit around Bali. Virtually everything can be organised by his very competent manager (who speaks very good English). There is a dedicated driver who will drop you...

We're talking about a home here, not just a house. Indeed, the owners try and make you feel comfortable since the first moment. There you can have breakfast and diner with the owners, who live in the house, and the other guests (only if you want, of course), just like at home. All the staff members are very kind and...

The home is beautiful, the food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the peace and quiet that came from staying outside of the main town. A truly lovely place. The surrounding village is quite interesting to walk around in. People are friendly and inviting. I visited a local carving studio and was invited to watch the owner's daughters dance in...

We stayed five nights in this lovely guest house. Our large room faced the rice and palm tree fields on one side and the pool on the other. Frogs would sing us lullabies every night and we had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast was quite the same choices we had in the rest of Bali. Staying for lunch or dinner was...

Albert was the most hospitable host and his staff couldn't do enough for us. They went above and beyond during our 4 night stay. This included driving us to and from the centre at short notice, buying special gluten free flour for my special dietary needs and even providing super glue for a broken shoe. Albert clearly cares for his...
