Fantastic this is my second time there and I travelled on my own felt very safe. It is a beautiful and serene place with lots of walks a shops nearby. The restaurant has lovely food. Drinks are very reasonable. Staff are very friendly always saying Hello. This is more traditional style accomodation. Beautiful rooms which are always cleaned to perfection....

It's the little things that make you fall in love with this place. The room (Nos 24) had a beautiful tropical outlook with crisp bedlinen with a mosquito net hanging from the ceiling and was cleaned as if by magic every time we left the room. It was very dark inside the room (more light needed) and the large bathroom...

Almost a year ago I booked four rooms at Ananda cottages, explaining that they must be on ground level because of the inability of the elderly guests to climb stairs. Originally I also booked the all inclusive 5 day tour package but as some of the tours would prove inaccessible for us, this was cancelled but the rooms retained. A...

We had a great 4 night stay here and felt absolutely chilled! The infinity pool was great with a wonderful view over paddy fields and palm trees - just so peaceful. Added to by fellow customers who were on a yoga hula course - couldn't get more chilled than those gels!

I asked for VILLA A on recommendation. I arrived at 2am and was given 12A - it had an "A" in it so I did not question. My A/C did not work the first night nor did my phone to call about it at 2am. The grounds are beautiful and wind through rice fields; so it was out of the...

If you really want to get a feel of Bali, this is it! By far the most unique place we have stayed at. This was our 4th country of a month long honeymoon and we were amazed! You feel like you are in the middle of a jungle with beautiful plants and everything is GREEN! Your balcony is facing the...

Ananda Cottages is not going to be everyone's ideal escape, but after heading through thousands of beige characterless hotels around the world, where you don't even know which country you are in from the inside of your hotel, this is perfect for me. I had a room set in the rice fields (recommended!) with a balcony overlooking jungle and the...

I was a little concerned initially that Ananda may not be 'good enough' since it's price was so reasonable, but I was delighted with what we got. I ha requested an upstairs balcony room, with air on and additional single bed for my daughter, and all was ready, clean, spacious and truly 'ubud' authentic when we arrived at 1 am....

The rooms were really spacious and the furniture was lovely wood. i loved our four poster bed. Stayed for over a week as booked in.advance via Agoda, else would have checked elsewhere, service dont often come with a smile, some rooms old, stained mosquito nets, and some pillow cases stained as well, and smell of strong spray. We looked at a few rooms before deciding on one. Buffet breakfast simple, but good, but only if they have...
