Just a little out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud this hotel was fantastic. Tucked back off the street the entry isn't that inviting. But once inside, you see the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the rice fields and the thatched roof open air restaurant. We stayed in a bungalow with a private little yard (#7) Just behind the beautiful pool,...

This find was exactly as expected - a tranquil, lush and green rice-field oasis that epitomises Ubud and its gracious people. The staff are well trained and superb - attentive but not overly so - as well as genuinely caring and in general, beautiful (inside and out). The hotel has few rooms that are tastefully decorated and that blend with...

The hotel is 15 minutes from the center of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields. It has a wonderful swimming pool, a great restaurant and the staff is very friendly. The attention to detail is impressive. The rooms are large, the beds very confortable, great linen, very good air conditioning ( an important item in this warm and humid climate), fast...

This was the first of four hotels that we stayed at during our 10 day trip around Bali. The last time we visited Ubud was back in 2010, and although it has definitely become a lot more commercialized than it used to be (Starbucks, anyone?), there are still areas where you can find relaxation. Kenanga is one of those places....

We had a really nice time staying at this hotel. It was quiet and peaceful. The food was great, and hygienically made. The staff were respectful and friendly. There was a new building going up, which had a bit of a negative impact the serenity, but it was also fascinating to watch. And it was all very lush and beautiful....

This was the last leg of our Bali trip and it was absolutely amazing! The staff here are wonderful and would do anything they could to help you! They prepare your room ready for bed while you are out at dinner and even leave little fruit snacks for you! On the last day we had an 11pm flight out and...

The Kenanga hotel was so beautiful and peaceful. I went there with a friend of mine over the holidays, and the staff was very accommodating. The lovely woman who owns the hotel was very sweet as well, and gave us great recommendations for good restaurants in the area. The hotel is located a little bit outside of Ubud, but close...

We had a great 4-night stay here in December 2015. The positives include: the yummy and extensive complimentary breakfast, the beautiful room (gorgeous bed, bed sheets, balcony overlooking rice fields, great air con, great bathroom, complimentary tropical fruit some days!), the beautiful rice fields that the hotel overlooked (complete with cute ducks!), the great (slightly pricey) massage in the "massage...

This was our first stop in Bali for 6 nights and it was absolutely beautiful, especially at night! The setting is in the middle of rice fields, and the staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. The room is spacious and has a beautiful view, and even though it is about a 10 minute drive from Ubud, it...
