A beautiful group of villas totally in keeping with its surroundings and landscaped accordingly facing paddy fields and a small brook. We stayed for a week 4 adults and 3 little kids. The rooms were large and beautiful with high ceilings bathrooms were huge with access to open air showers. We moved into different rooms but the best for a...

This is the most peaceful place to call home during your stay!! Great rooms, spectacular balcony views, open air showers and the most friendly staff. Free rides into the main town or a short walk through the monkey Forrest. Afternoon tea provided. The pool only has 10 chairs but I never missed out. The breakfast is brought to you and...

We stayed in three hotels in Ubud this trip - including a five star place - and Alam Jiwa was easily the best. It's hard to describe why it was different, but it's where we rediscovered the magic of Bali we found on our first trip here. The rooms are simple but lovely and the view just beautiful. The bathroom...

This resort is very special. To date, one of my favorites. We stayed in Kenuri room. The property has an exotic and tranquil vibe. The rooms with private terrace make you not want to venture out. Bathroom is huge. I highly recommend a sunrise morning shower. A babbling brook can be heard from bathroom, terrace and open windows. A/C was...

I won't repeat all the good things that have already been said about Alam Jiwa. What a wonderful experience-it was like my dream of Bali come true. I stayed here as a solo traveler at the beginning of my trip to Bali-Java before I meet my tour group. Making the reservation through their website was easy. They got back to...

I booked this hotel for one night that we had planned to stay in Ubud to celebrate my fiancés birthday. Upon booking they do not take a deposit or get you to pay upfront but don't be put off as we had no problem with the room we had reserved despite of this. We were met upon arrival with a...

This will be a short review because everything has been already said. No need to repeat. This place is Paradise. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Bali beach resorts. Take in the peace and quiet, the magnificent surroundings of the vibrant green rice paddies, the swaying hillside palms (no, this is not a Bintang driven review!) and the...

We booked with Alam Jiwa for our Bali trip and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Our room was amazing with a view of the beautiful property that sits right beside the rice fields and the monkey forest. It is just outside of the main center of Ubud, so away from all the noise and traffic. The...

My wife and I stayed at Alam Jiwa for a week, and I cannot say enough about what an incredible hotel this is. The bungalow was spacious, with a gorgeous patio looking out onto the jungle and rice fields, and you even are looking out onto the rice fields when you take a shower. There is a very nice pool...
