This is probably my favorite hotel in Indonesia. The rooms are big, nice and clean. There are two nice pools (one overlooking the rice field). Breakfast is a buffet and it was always delicious and filling. Staff was up to par. What isn't there to love? Would definitely go back!

For a comfortable stay in a family run hotel you can't beat Cendana Resort and Spa in Monkey Forest Road. The breakfast is delicious (and nobody is counting how many fried banana pancakes you have) and the staff attentive. The grounds and pools are well maintained and the deluxe rooms light and airy. And best of all it is only...

I would stay here again. Great location. Close to everything. Rooms are huge and the view from the rooms is beautiful. Hot water and AC available. Beds are very big and the sheets smell good. I would recommend this place

Rooms are big, with air conditioning with 2 pools. One with salted water. It's only the second hotel in which I didn't find bug in it (except mosquitoes). In the centre of ubud, however, it can be noisy at night, until 2am, you can hear the music played in restaurants nearby.

The other is a fresh water pool which has a few cracked tiles and we cut ourselves on them. Very clos to the Ubud market, shops and Monkey forest road, all in walking distance. I would...

Totally by coincidence we arrived at Bali airport at 9pm on the Balinese new year festivities. We should have suspected something when this hotel could not provide the planed booked transfer service but assured us a taxi would be available from the airport taxi service. Alas all were shut including ATM and money changers. So without any cash we pleaded...

The website shows a "deluxe" room of which there is only one in fact. It is at the rear of the property above the spa and a long way from the pool. They don't often rent it. The rest of the rooms are run down and nothing like the photos of the deluxe room. We booked 2 rooms for 4...
