We chose a peak season to visit Bali, even we are planning one month ahead, it is still difficult to get an ideal place to stay in Ubud. I give up the idea to look for those top rated hotels in Tripadvisor and those highly popular one turn it's name in LP, the chance of getting them is almost equals...

I think this place might appeal to older European visitors who haven't been to Bali before and enjoy being hand held. Seasoned Bali travellers might find this place frustrating. I didn't find it special or worth the price. There are much better places to stay than here. cons: - painfully long and formal check in process. The receptionist tells you...

Stayed here on a two night deal with Asiarooms.com in July 2012. We were taking our main holiday in the very touristy resort of Nusa Dua and wanted to see the real Bali. The Arma resort is such a treat. It is like being on the set of an Indiana Jones movie. Located about a 10 minute taxi ride from Ubud...

This hotel is out of the little town of Ubud, takes about 15 min walk in or an easy shuttle ride provided by the hotel. It has a few little quirks but if you want a retreat in beautiful surroundings to relax, then this is perfect. The villa's with the private pool are large, ours was clean and well serviced....

This resort was just lovely. We travelled with our one year old daughter and it is really great for kids. The staff were so friendly and you felt like you were staying in a big family run b&b. The grounds were magical and the pool was lovely. The only drawback for us was that no babysitting was available during the...

In Bali, I wanted to get a very long time, imagine this exotic island paradise with white beaches, clear ocean, palm trees above the water and widespread mossy. In general, all as it should. When I beginning to study the hotels, beaches, attractions, I realized that my perception of Bali is very wrong. Exotics and mossy course there enough, but...

We booked a room in one of the main building and when we arrived in february 2012 there was some construction works with a lot of noise; we asked for another room and they put us in a superior villa with a private pool at no extra cost! They did the same with my parents in-law.They still make a new...

The rooms and villas are lovely. You are on a property of 8 hectares and there you can find a rice fields, beautiful gardens, a lovely pool, two museums, two restaurants, a cafe, a spa, and a few shops. The rooms are very large bungalows or deluxe villas with private pools. Food is great at the restaurants. There is entertainment...

We stayed in a superior villa and had a wonderful experience. Our quarters were absolutely stunning-- a huge bathroom that is half indoor half ourdoor, a large comfy bed, a private pool ... we had no idea our stay would be so luxurious, yet tasteful as everything had a very natural vibe and Balinese style. The hotel is also located...

Rooms & villas are all very different a bit like a medieval room with stone interiors and shower built into brick walls with Norwood and plants growing inside. All antique type furniture quite dirty and broken though. There is some abuilding/renovation going on so noisy and busy near the pool. Food was ok and breakfast fine limited compared to the...
