We were here for three nights and would have stayed longer if we'd had the time. The hotel itself was lovely- right on main road of Ubud, but a bit set back so quiet and serene. Our room was simply charming with a private courtyard to sit and have a coffee. The room itself was very clean and large- beautiful...

Rooms are airy and lovely. Location is perfect, and inside the hotel you feel so far away from the motorbikes and mayhem of Ubud. Downsides are that the pool is quite small and very cold. Breakfast is on the skimpy and uninteresting side, but they will provide delivery to your room or veranda complementary. Nice staff. More along the lines...

I spent 1 night with 2 nieces at Barong Resort & Spa Ubud, a boutique resort. It is located at Monkey Forest Street, in the centre of Ubud where many artshops, restaurants and boutiques also located. This is perfect for those who want the atmosphere of a small town. We arrived around 10 am and greeted by the resort manager,...

The room was charming and full of character.. Very tastefully decorated. Love the local furniture. Bathroom is spacious. Staff very attentive. Location is good at the monkey forest end. It's walking distance to the centre of Ubud butt not close enough to have all the touristic your doorstep. I would stay here again.

Very romantic, quiet and intimate villa rooms in middle of busy monkey forest road. The staff were friendly and non intrusive. But breakfast quality was a bit dull and dining table facing the main road. You could have it outside the the rooms if you wanted anyway.

So, ill start from the beginning. We arrived from Gilli T at about 4pm and were promptly met at our taxi and our bags were carried up the steps. From here we were given a refreshing drink while they filled out the various paper work. Half way through filling out the paper work the receptionist came over to us to...

Barong resort is smack in the middle of Ubud - very close to Monkey forest and Ubud palace. Its a tiny resort with limited number of rooms - but the decor is interesting with greenery and a stone cut look. Rooms are comfortable and clean. They gave us a free upgrade as we were on honeymoon and had a few...

We got a superior bungalow. At first sight, it looks great. The second sight you realize it is pretty dark, very strange atmosphere and architecture. The bathroom has a nice shower and bath tube. The bed is small, I guess it was 1,4m wide. So for 2 people is a little small regarding the "superior bungalow" standard. The location of...

The location is very convenient to go around central Ubud. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, bars, and temples. Rooms are located behind lobby building which faces a street. So, the noise from the street did not bother me. No bug inside of room. snacks and fruits in the room is free.

Such a beautiful place to stay - we had a lovely big room, with an amazing bathroom, and our own little secret garden courtyard. Located right near the Monkey Forest, with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Got a sneak peak of one of the private pool rooms - would definitely try and stay there next time! Also...
