Can someone told me which rooms with the big bath tube? I was at room 403 and didn't get that. I think the hotel should check about the marriage doc or something like that. Breakfast was delicious but less variants.

Built on 1920, this hotel is used to a girl dorm of former Bandung Technological Institute. We can feel this classic scent since our first sight. Staff very kind and helpfull. Room was spacious and clean enough, I have a balcony in my room. The breakfast is standard : chicken porridge, toast, omelette, fried rice, fried noodles, chicken fingers and... More

This hotel is strategically located in the center of Bandung, the Taman Sari area, and the building has a unique history. Previously it was a student dormitory of ITB (one of Indonesia most prestigious university) that was converted into a hotel. The room I stayed was quite nice and unique with wooden decoration. But the bathroom is somewhat awkward, it... More

This hotel was booked by our travel agency. Because it was our honeymoon we decided to upgrade the room to junior suite. The room looks fantastic, nice bed and two chairs. But the bathroom was horrible, very dirty, not maintained and the warm water was only working after 10 minutes. Saturday morning at 5.45 a group of decided to do... More

Third time here. It wasn't great the first couple of times but this time was just unacceptable. Arrived past midnight so too late and tired to do anything about it. Room was very dark and dingy. Two windows onto a closed ground floor balcony with no natural light. Very depressing. No running water in bathroom sink. Breakfast following morning was... More

Bumi Sawunggaling has enormous potential, and I hope it gets renovated to some of its former glory. It's a beautiful, historic colonial building now owned by the ITB university. We had a large, spacious room with high ceilings, a large terrace patio, and an elegant four-poster bed. The main problem was with the bathroom, which was barely functional. The toilet... More

Maybe we got a horrific room, but even in the context of mid-range Indonesian accomodation.....this place is pretty bad. As you enter the lobby area you feel the place might have some merit; high ceilings and colonial structure. However as soon as we entered our room (first floor) - things only became worse. The room was terribly lighted; real dark... More

Don't stay in this hotel. Our camera bag with camera and foto equipment was stolen from our room, also money from handbag. It likely happend while we had breakfast or in the middle of the night someone sneaked in (how creepy!)! So IT'S NOT SAFE here!
