My room was upgraded to next category. Thanks to Miss Nurul for making this possible. First, I was a little bit confuse looking for the hotel position since it was inside the mall complex. Thanks to the guard guy who helped us to find the hotel. Drop off point was on the ground floor, went inside to find the elevator to bring us up to lobby area on 8th floor. The check in time took about 5 minutes and need to deposit about 300 K IDR. I came around 2.30 pm and the room was ready about 15 minutes later. The room was nice, all carpeted. The bathroom was large enough with separate shower and bath tub (Grand Deluxe room) and nice city view. Amenities were shampoo, bath foam, conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap, shoe mitt, sanitary bag, and 2 hand soaps, 2 bottles of 600 ml mineral water, instant coffee, teabag, sugar, brown sugar, and creamer. We could view neighbours's rooftop from the room. Air con, lamp, tv, refrigerator, all did worked properly. The breakfast semi buffet was not too special. Not much variety imho but still okay and acceptable with friendly staffs that willing to help us. Kids breakfast cost 50% off normal price (normal price 187.550 IDR nett). The protocol during Covid was fine, we got all body tempered and hand sanitizer was everywhere, elevator for maximum 5 people and Covid sign was everywhere too. The main pool on 22nd floor was infinity pool, not too big but enough to do some exercise, there was kids pool and jacuzzi too. Gym was open but sauna was temporarily closed during pandemic. Check out time was super fast, not more than 2 minutes. My kids were happy staying at this hotel. Overall, it was a nice stay for us.

Staying here on 16-18 August on my lasik surgery event that was next building to this hotel.
A little bit confusing to locate the hotel at first, but easy after you figure it out.
This hotel lobby was at high ground lobby, with concierge at ground floor. Strict health protocol was applied during my stay here. Quick check in with Ms. Tiara, and assigned according to my room preference.
The room itself was good, nice water pressure, great temperature on shower, clean. All of the essentials for business traveler was there, you get nice speed on WiFi, power plug available, lighting good enough.
Nice housekeeping that cleans thoroughly during my stay. Thanks Mr. Kemal and Ms. Andini

What i find a little bit odd is misinformation between kitchen and lobby staff.
When i ask about cocktail promo on lobby, they say the had the promo (which was buy 1 for 2 cocktails) but, when the kitchen staff call me they said they didn't had that promo anymore. hmmm....
There was miss communication too during breakfast (in room breakfast, which was common during pandemic), but resolved rather quick and professional by manager in charge (sorry i forgot Mr Arief or Mr Aries?), appreciated .

Food a little bit lack of consistency, i think this can be improved.

It was our third stay in CW Hotel; this hotel is a perfect choice for us due to its proximity to my mom's house. Usually, every stay was an experience that left smiles in our faces. Not this time.

Praised for its impeccable covid protocol, CW Hotel seemed to be the logical option during the pandemic, or so we had thought.

At almost 4 pm, check in took longer than we had expected and we were told the room was not ready. When we were finally given the access card and went to our room, we noticed stains on the sheet, one of which seemed fresh and hadn't been washed, leaving the impression that the sheets hadnt been changed.

Disgusted and freak out, I complained to the front desk and was promised a new room. Almost 2.5 hours later, no room was made available for us and we were told to keep on waiting. Blaming the hotel's laundry, the house keeping staff was rather oblivious to the fact that we had waited much longer that a professional functional 5 star hotel would made their guests wait.

We were travelling with 2 young children who were tired and cranky. No option was given to us; it was either waiting or walk away. Outraged, I went back to FO and demanded an explanation. Only after I got really angry, suddenly 2 rooms were made available for us to choose. The on duty manager, Ony, did try to provide assistance, and it would have been effective had it been done a couple of hours earlier. Naturally, we were given room upgrade. The new room was beautiful, but our Christmas mood was ruined and our trust towards CW Hotel stained, like the sheets.

I was deeply disturbed that apparently a  trusted 5-star hotel like CW Hotel failed to take hygiene issue during the pandemic seriously.

And as if it's not enough, the next day, we were not provided with hand towels. My husband called the service, was promised fresh towels would be delivered. We waited for over 30mins, nothing came. We had to call for a second time to "beg" for towels.

I'm deeply dissapointed with the management who seemed to prefer to only apologize rather than actually addressing an issue, especially when it's a sensitive issue in the midst of Covid.

On our trip, on July, we decided to return to Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya, since we have positive experiences when we stayed in this Hotel, particularly during this pandemic.

When we told to the front office staff that we need some snacks, Miss Nella, the duty staff at that moment told us that this Hotel has new menu, and we took a look at those options, we decided to order croissant waffle, and surprisingly it was delicious. We really love it. Good job Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya, you made some improvements that impressed us since sometime looking for food during this situation is quite difficult, thank you for this beautiful experience, you never disappointed us

On 11 June 2020 when the pandemic situation is raised up, we stay one night at Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya for preparing our holy matrimony ar Church on the next day. So we decided to make our reservation on 09 June even our reservation is the last minute but the staff is very helpfull especially special credit for the Mrs Dona from Marketing Division who handle us very patiently. She arrange all of our needs included for the photo session and the type of the room what we want it. Special thanks also for all the staff that is very cooperative and help us a lot untill we need an iron they also help to provide and they also give the permission to late check out because we need to packing our thing. My aunty suddenly ask me to find a good hotel to stay for her visit this time, and I asked my friends to find one then they recommended me this hotel. When I called the hotel, picked up by Ms. Natasya, she gave me a good price for connecting rooms and she was really helpful. When we arrived the concierge was very nice, Mr. Gusti helped us right away. The check in process was very fast and smooth as well, handled by Ms. Angella and her colleague that time Mrs. Amanda. And also for Mr. Kemal (if I’m not mistaken) the housekeeper, he helped me to bring more towel in our rooms because at that time the towel wasn’t complete, there was only one towel in each room. It was splendid to stay here, thank you all.

We've had a fantastic stay in this hotel; got an upgraded room type during our 2-night stay, served with courteous and helpful staffs, also, delicious dinings at the restaurant.

We suggest that you should ask for upper-floor room if you are expecting a more relaxed time to enjoy.

Our appreciation also for these 2 staffs whom helped us nicely, Mr Hidayat from housekeeping and one receptionist that we met.

Last month I had breakfast with my friend, we were treated very well with the delicious food and various of choices, also the outstanding service from one of the pastry chef named Lila, she’s so kind that offer us some cute slice cakes for dessert. Hi, last time we're there in Deluxe room. We're family too of 3 adults and 2 children, 3 and 1.5 yo. The bed was rather narrow for us actually, and we did not order an extra mattress. But it's ok. Sometimes hotels offer extra bed but you better confirm it in advance, perhaps there are no extra bed available at the hotel. Or you can compare it with Superior room, perhaps there's a wider bed. Hopefully it can help you. Thank you.
