Impromptu booking for a short getaway... Being first time, we werent really aware what to expect. The car pickup from Bintan Ferry Terminal which took about an hour to a private jetty located in a rural and secluded area. Yeah. I thought we got into the wrong car and got "kidnapped"... lol We are really impressed by the personal touch...

I celebrated my husband's birthday at Joyo for three days and two nights. We both enjoyed our stay very much overall (: The journey to Pulau Joyo from Singapore took approximately half a day, comprising of an hour ferry ride to Bintan, an hour half drive to a jetty, where we hopped onto another boat for 20 minutes or so....

And if you think the title of this review is over the top, you’d be so wrong. I got married in Pulau Joyo in April 2017, we hired the whole island for 5 days 4 nights and had the most wonderful wedding we could have ever hoped or wished for. The island itself has so many things to do;- there...

Well, what can I say. There were 28 adults and seven children under five years old. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Could not do enough for any of us. They were caring, polite, courteous and ever smiling. The food was just what was required. 90% local food. Delicious and different for all the meals over the four nights. Highlights were...

The island is fabulous for children of all ages and the staff are absolutely wonderful. They went over and above to get important items accidentally left on the island back to us with no fuss or cost - very willing and awesome attitude. To get to the island is a bit of a trek - ferry, bus ride, speedboat but...

We hired the entire island for a joint special birthday and from start, to finish everything was perfect and even smoother than expected. Greeted from the ferry in Bintan and straight onto the bus - with beers, soft drinks and snacks for the trip across the island by bus ( by car for smaller groups). Admittedly the last 10-15 mins...

Loved this escape even though I did have to work some of the time. From welcome to farewell, didn't have to think about anything as soon as we got to the island. Small, rustic and beautiful. The villa is spacey, with 2 big king beds for a couple to share. The bar / common area is warm and cozy, and...

We loved it, our kids loved it, we want to go back! The island is a home away from home. The level of service was excellent, and our dinners by the beach magic. We had the whole island to ourselves one of our 2 nights. Even though it might look expensive on paper it was worth every penny. The staff...

We have been there in nov for 3 nights. All well organized, from the ferry arrival in bintan to the island ( transfert by car 45 Min/1 hour. End of the road is a bit rough. Then 20/30 min boat to the island). Very good place. We were located in one of the house with direct access to the beach....

We had to most relaxing couple of days ever! From the moment you set foot in Pintang ferry terminal till you leave the island, the staff takes care of everything, nothing is too much and it's all done with a friendly and smiling face. There is no air con and no tv but we haven't missed that for a bit....
