Here are the 5* (+) points. Clean; fantastic food; lovely sea view (but only from beachside cottage); and the absolute number 1 superlative - the best snorkelling anywhere that we have visited (which are about 30 resorts in Red Sea; Cayman; Cozumel; Bonaire; Florida; Indonesia; Thailand; SW Indian ocean islands). Now some of the neutral points: The currents can be...

We stayed at Bobocha earlier this year and it was definitely our favourite place we stayed during our travels throughout SE Asia. Sarah was an incredibly warm and welcoming host and has created a really special environment in which to stay on what is already a very special island. Our cottage was really tastefully decorated and kept spotlessly clean during...

The beauty of the site and the highly caring and solicitous Sarah the owner are an unbeatable combination. With a beachfront cottage I faced the large low shade trees, the beach and sand, the water with the volcano across the water - such a peaceful view. Sarah seemed to be always hovering to make sure I was comfortable, got whatever...

My 3 year old daughter, her nanny and I have just had five wonderful days at Bobocha. I really recommend it. The food is first class. Sarah and her team really know how to make incredibly tasty meals. Guests waited for lunch and dinner with great expectation and we were never disappointed. The cakes that came out the oven nearly...

True oasis of peace and relax on beautiful island of Siladen. Family run resort offering you very high standard beachfront bungalows with direct access to fabulous reef. Great for snorkling and family friendly. Kids just loved this place. Nice beach uncomparable to Bunaken - clean and safe for kids, full of yellow sand. Sarah, the owner, is a charming person...

After three years in Indonesia, we found the perfect vacation spot. Other reviewers note the high quality food, friendly host and staff, and great snorkeling/diving. I cant agree with these things enough. Ive never stayed in a hotel where the owner made a point of greeting you at the port and making the 45 minute boat ride onto the island...

Siladen is a great island, very quiet. Sarah is a great host, very friendly, knowledgeable (she works with a great diving company) and always there to help. The food is really delicious, there was not a meal that wasn t good. I fully recommend.

This small pretty resort lies on an island conveniently close to Manado city (and the airport). Right off the beach in front of the bungalows is a beautiful and healthy coral reef with an impressive 1km drop off! I've been diving and snorkeling in many places in the world and I can tell you; this is very good!! The bungalows...

My wife and I came back again to Bobocha Siladen, where we stood four years ago. Not only as a diving and snorkeling area but especially because of the cultivated great hospitality of Sarah and her team at Bobocha. Fresh amazing food, profound conversation and information about Indonesia but also all other topics and interesting other guests made our stay...
