We, stayed here in June 2012. Though it was my wife and me, the resort is equally suitable for families. The resort is well laid out with 2 spacious pools. There is a dive centre here. Excellent: 1) The hotel manager meets all who have checked in as a group to give an overview of the resort and tips. He...

I spent a week at Tasik Ria with a group of divers. The staff is what really leaves the impression. There are extremely helpful and polite. My room-mate experienced a passport problem that could have left her unable to complete her original travel plans. Andrew (reservations team) came to her rescue! He journeyed to the airport on his day off...

Tasik Ria was home to our team of kayakers and researchers twice: at the beginning and end of our journey from Manado to Sangihe (Lena C writes about this in the post below). Both times were wonderful, not simply for the excellent service and lovely location, the extra effort of staff to facilitate our journey, or for the excellent massages...

My wife and I spent 6 nights at the Tasik Ria based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. We are not divers but were visiting Manado for family reasons and thought that staying at the Tasik Ria would provide us an oasis away from the rigors of the daily travelling around the area that we had to do. To...

This was my first trip to Asia and we started out staying at Tasik Ria for a week. More welcoming staff is hard to find. I am a professional sea kayking guide and have started trips in many places around the world ... Tasik Ria's staff, support and atmosphere beats most places. The staff went out of their way to...

Two of my teenage sons and I recently spent 3 fantastic weeks on holiday in this paradise resort. From start to finish we were looked after by the wonderful staff at the resort. The reception staff were always on hand to help with anything, from an electric plug adapter to a day trip up a volcano, nothing was to much...

Title says it all. Hotel is lovely, beautiful grounds, great pool. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is very good and food is fine, but would get boring very quickly. Bars are nice, pool table is 'challenging', and I would avoid the cocktails. We only stayed for a long weekend. Free internet in lobby is fast. SO if I wanted...

Excellent resort from the friendly staff in the resort to the guides on th boat. Mr Green the resort manager is a true gentleman and realy looked after us as did his staff. He went out of his way to make sure things were the best for our honeymoon. The pool and rooms are clean and the food on offer...

We stayed here for the first week of our two week honeymoon. We were collected from the airport in a minibus despite there just being the two of us and were transported back to the resort amid very heavy traffic. When we arrived it was beautiful, amazing grounds with a quiet location right next to the sea (though don’t be...

Tasik Ria was a great place to spend our first week in Sulawesi. The hotel manager, Dan was more than accommodating. If we needed something done we would just mention it to him and it would happen. On our first day we mentioned that our group liked sushi and Dan made sure that every night during cocktails we would have...
