My room was a seafront cottage with an open bathroom - nice, with the sort of homely touches you associate with a midrange resort like Tasik Ria. The best feature of the resort, I found, was its staff - somehow, they all seem so familiar and friendly - like extended family. It's not just because Indonesians are generally very smiley... More

Just returned from Tasik Ria resort, our first visit to Indonesia. From the moment that we were collected from the airport we felt that we were the only ones that mattered. Dan, the resort manager, travels on the transfers so you are up to speed by the time you get to the resort , and he is available constantly to... More

I was in this resort during last month of March together with some friends. The hotel is quite nice, rooms are comfortable (even if the air conditioned at the beginning was not working) and the swimming pool is very nice. People in the hotel was really friendly, especially people from the restaurant and the Jetty bar. Food in the hotel... More

My holiday to Tasik Ria Manado Indonesia, I knew my holiday was going to be good even before I got there, having heard so much about the place and comments I had read from others, both plus and negative about their experience of staying at Tasik. Just to set the scene, I am a relative newbie to diving, only recently... More

We had a great 4 nights at Tasik Ria. Great service and food. Dan is a fantastic Manager always walking around checking on things. Great memories of diving at Bunaken and lounging around the pool. Recommend the sea-view rooms. Dive boats are a bit slow, compared to others I've used at Sipidan etc but well-fitted out and the dive crew... More

Pros: We arrived quite late in the evening and were greeted by the reception. Dan, the manager, greeted us as well and gave us valuable tips such as pre-booking our spa treatments before a big group arrived the next day, and checking in with the dive centre early in the morning to make plans for snorkeling. We did not go... More

We were in Tasik Ria for a week in Febuary 2011 before bording a liveaboard in Sorong. We loved the relaxing place and had a beach view bungalow. It rained a lot –but we didn´t care. The pool and poolbar was our favourite place during the day. The rain is warm and many people pay a lot of money for... More

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of March 2011 with 5 days diving booked. Our sea view bungalow was very spacious and clean. The pool is large and very clean with a lovely pool bar. The dive set up was second to none - very well organised - good hire equipment and great dive guides. We were... More
