We stayed in Bukittinggi for one night, more or less as a transfer night. We didn't expect to find such a nice and welcoming place! The rooms are not cosy or something, but clean and there's warm water in the shower ;) There are several very good recommendations for tourists on the guesthouse lobby walls and the landlord is a...

The room is clean, equipped with free wifi, cable tv and hot water. She even has praying mat for muslim travellers. The owner is very helpful. We were briefed about local attraction when we checked in, she even helped us to get a car to rent. She and her Mom are very informative regarding local attractions and transportations, they even...

Ling is a very helpful and honest host, we thank her for her kindness. Her guesthouse is very clean, the breakfast is delicious and different every day. The location is convenient, even if it's located near a mosquee (it haven't disturb us). We recommand this lovely guesthouse!

I had a decent sized "Deluxe Room", perfectly clean, good daylight, with private balcony and western style bathroom for 260.000 IDR/night incl. breakfast in April 2017. The bed was very comfortable, hot shower and toilet worked well, towel and paper were readily available (not always the case elsewhere). The room had no cabinet, just some hangers. The room went right...

We stayed at the Hello guest house for 3 nights in the deluxe room, facing the road. The rooms are very clean and well furnished for the price. Ling is an outstanding host. She is very genuine and was always available to help us. She did not try to sell any tours/ private taxis and gave us excellent recommendations for...

If you are looking for a place to explore the Bukittinggi area from, then this is place to be. Our room was simple but clean and functional, and came with hot water (which is nice at this elevation). Breakfast, served in the common area near the entrance, was great as well. But most importantly, Ling and her family are very...

We are an older Canadian couple who stayed here for 5 nights in late January. The guest house is very clean, is centrally located, and represents excellent value. We paid 175,000 IDR/night for a double room with private bathroom with lots of hot water. This includes breakfast and coffee. The guest house was full when we were there so you...

This house is a no brainer stay for any traveller. Ling the owner is definitely a source of wealth of information as stated by many. She helped me find great ways to see the city and find good sunset spots. And this house is located right in the heart of city most city attractions are at walking distance. She can...

We stayed there for 3 nights in deluxe room no. 18. And I must say that the high ranking place on TA is fully justified. Our room had almost everything we needed. It is large enough for 2 persons, has a balcony (perfect for sipping a beer in the evening) and ensuite bathroom. In the room there's a hanger for...
