Mega Inn was just brilliant. its set in the jungle, with a beautifully clear river running just below it, great for swimming. The accommodation is very basic, but that is to be expected in its location deep in the jungle and this reflected in the cost per night, i think it was roughly the cost of a small glass of...

Mega Inn was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and simple. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and lots of fun. We stayed for 5 days overall, 3 of those in the jungle. We had an amazing time in Mega Inn having loads of fun with the staff in the evening and had the most amazing time in the jungle. I...

This is a very nice hotel on the riverbank. Smal, cozy, nice restaurant and good food. The entrance is crossing the river, which is great fun. The bathroom is very basic: you have to flush the toilet with a bucket of water and there is only cold water. But as it is so warm outside you don't need warm water....

This place was an adventure. Tucked away in the jungle on the hill above a beautiful river. The location is magical. The staff are trying their hardest to make it a fantastic eco resort. They are getting their ideas from other successful places. Beds are very basic and linen looks old but it was clean and you had a mosquito...

Mega Inn is one of the two nice places to stay in Tangkahan, together with Jungle Lodge. It has a nice restaurant and kind staff. The bungalows are great, basic and very cheap, some with nice verandas with river views. In the restaurant you'll often find local guides. Ask for Fran to go on nice and active trips (elephants, tubing,...

We stayed in a room with our two boys, aged 7 and 8. Our basic bungalow was a little hut with a double bed and we had two mattresses on the floor for the boys. There was a shower which was a pipe out of the wall and toilet which you had to flush with a bucket of water. The...

There is no shower at all. The rest of the room is very basic. However that is still more than we paid for (6 euro for 2 persons for 1 night). The owner can arrange transport and acitivies prior to your arrival if you e-mail him.

We stayed at the Mega Inn for 1 night after elephant riding & washing. This seems to be the main reason tourists go to Tangkahan, and also for the jungle trekking opportunities. The Mega Inn is close to the main tourist centre area (10 min walk) and one of the first accommodations you'll find after crossing the rope bridge. We...

This hotel is definitely for people who are looking for adventure and experience the primitive life as close as the locals do. don't expect to find luxury, ventilators, air conditioner because you won't find it. I enjoyed the staying in this place, the staff is very very friendly, they are always ready to help u in anything you need, drinks...

Stayed May 2013 In the Gecko room This was a very pleasant surprise after a long day travel. We stayed in a privet detached cabin. Not all rooms are detached. With lovely balcony overlooking the river valley. Room had big double bed, dresser and mosquito net. I would recommend bringing your own mosquito net though. The one provided had some...
