Visited this beautiful place last month with my wife and we both loved it.
First 2hr ride from Padang is beautiful and just 15 min boat ride from mainland will take you to the resort.
Accommodation is very basic and when I first heard there...More
We stay here for 2 nights only due to our short holidays and we wish we could stay longer. We had an absolutely amazing stay. We were picked up from our place and drove for an hour and half to the port where their speed...More
The boat pulled away from the mainland port leaving the hustle and bustle of Sumatra behind us. As we approached the village, we all really sensed a feeling of calm and relief. I was with my family and none of us could stop grinning. A...More

We are thinking about a trip to Sumatra in March 2017 including a week at Cubadak Paradiso which looks beautiful. We are travelling from the UK and this will be our first trip to Sumatra. One thing that we are unsure about is the potential weather/climate at this time of year as the advice online is very conflicting.
Ideally we would like to pick a month that is likely to have the least amount of rainfall and most amount of sun. From your experience how was the weather in March?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
