This resort is a nice size, with less than ten bungalows so felt quite intimate. It has a lovely position overlooking a (rocky) beach and there is a really nice bar area and a little jetty from where you can sit and have drinks and watch the sunset. The bungalows were fairly basic - I'm afraid we found lots of...

We only had lunch here because we stayed at neighboring Lena House. Even so, we adored this place. Aftwards we regretted not staying here, but that happens sometimes. The bungalows are very cute. The setting is great, just at the water's edge. It's very peaceful and quiet. We had a delicious lunch in their restaurant and spent the afternoon lounging...

I have just spent 6 days at Ankermi and absolutely loved it! It's the perfect getaway for anyone looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Both my husband and I went for a dive, and although I was a little nervous after a 5 year break, it only took me a few minutes to realise that I was in...

I had to wait for three days for the renew of my visa in Maumere, so I decided to go out of the city and enjoy some nice quiet place. Ankermi was the perfect choice. The beautiful bungalows are located in a wonderful tropical garden, the rooms are spotless and the view on the sea is just amazing. We rented...

A quiet and peaceful place on the north coast. The owner is friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and also healthy (which is not trivial outside of Labuan Bajo). Staff were a bit impatient at times, but understandable in this area. I didn't dive but still, it is a very nice getaway spot in a beautiful part of...

Was suppose to stay for a week, but had to leave due to an ear infection. Claudia, the delightful hostess and her team run a great little resort with comfortable huts with lofts, a well run dive base, and a great restaurant with great local food. This place is highly recommended.

We stayed off season so the dive school was closed! Unlucky! Clean bungalows - no ac so sea breeze is essential!!!! Rooms are very basic. Great food and very accomodTing staff despite language barriers. We arranged a boat trip to nearby island pulau patanbatang which was awesome. Ankermi itself is located on a bay with lots of rocks infront. Walk...

“If you feel that around EUR20/$25 a night is above your budget, you can also try the place next door Lena House run by Pak Didakus and his wife. It reminds me of the old Ankermi sometimes.”

“There are 5 Bungalows on the beach side. so you can have direct view of the maumere bay. And if you want more privacy, there is a bungalow located near the rice field.”
