Found the décor great, the room clean and comfortable, and the hotel in general was quiet. Close to the Main Street area so dining choices within walking distance (love the El Dorado!). Rooms could use more light - darker walls seemed to suck up the light so it seemed turning on all the lamps never helped. They are still making...

This is a hotel that has thought through the details of what it takes to make a traveler feel comfortable. Great modern touches, wonderful rooms. Good restaurants around the corner. Truly a pleasure to stay here.

Made the reservation on a recommendation and was pleased with the result. Nice hotel recently remodeled in in an art deco motif. Free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, spacious room with microwave & fridge and a table with chairs in addition to a desk. Small basic breakfast available was included. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel has a lounge open...

Great hotel, clean, good breakfast setup. Never could get wifi to work in room but worked in lobby. That was why it got 4/5. Couldn't do any work in room. Bathroom was very very nice for an oilfield town. I would recommend this hotel and happily stay here again.

Everybody here is nice. The receptionist was very nice, and gave us directions to the local antique stores. Even though nothing is really hard to find in Artesia, it's always great to have a knowledgeable person who can give precise directions. At the end of the day we gathered in the lounge and enjoyed even more good service.

We were traveling and ready to stop for the night. We arrived late, like around 1am. It took a few minutes to locate the main entrance of hotel. The area was very quiet and parking was close to lobby with no hassles. The desk clerk was very friendly and answered some questions about the hotel and its history. Our rate...

I had made reservations for Hotel Artesia eight months ago as part of our trip out west. We had visited Carlsbad caverns twice before and wanted to take our younger kids to see the beautiful caverns and the bats. We had previously stayed in Whites city and thought we could find something better on our way out of town toward...

This hotel is clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were wonderful, helpful and made our stay even better! The hotel is decorated in a modern way, with ranch decorating touches everywhere. An unusual combination, but beautifully done. We were visiting Carlsbad and driving to Artesia for a decent priced hotel was well worth the 35 minute drive. There is a...

The hotel was a surprise in the small oil town of Artesia. I will say our room was big, nicely decorated in a contemporary style, and the bathroom was top notch size wise. The bed was a little hard for me but I'm unable to fault a hotel for this since my back is sensitive. Now onto the details I...
