We stayed here while attending a wedding in Artesia and absolutely loved it. From the charming rooms to the ease of internet use, this place has it all! We had our infant and two year old with us and they were incredibly welcoming to all 4 of us. We loved the breakfast and everyone at the wedding was dying to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Artesia thanks to the Heritage Inn. The rooms are quaint, comfortable, charming, and well kept. The inn keepers are gracious hosts. We are coming back to take advantage of a night at the performing arts theater and a day in Carlsbad, Roswell, and a host of scenic national forests.

Due to a mix up in our reservations, we almost changed our plans and moved to a pricier hotel in Carlsbad. Very glad we didn't. Loved the "Old West" feel of the place -- but don't get me wrong. It's very well appointed, totally renovated with modern fixtures and conveniences, but you could just imagine what the hotel and the... More

The Heritage Inn is a charming hotel that is very well located for visiting Roswell, Artesia and Carlsbad. The building has a lot of history but the rooms and bathrooms are updated with nice finishes. The Innkeepers are friendly and helpful. This is a much better value than anything available in Carlsbad. It's a great place! Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I were looking to stay at a NICE place near Carlsbad Caverns, but as you may have already noticed, Carlsbad is full of sub-par yet overpriced hotels/motels/inns. We decided to stay at Heritage Inn in Artesia because of its great reviews on TripAdvisor, and we were not disappointed! The beds were SO comfortable and I was obsessed... More

My husband and I chose the Heritage Inn in Artesia as a midway point between our two touristy destinations, Roswell and Carlsbad Caverns. Our choice was perfect! The Heritage Inn is immaculately clean. The innkeepers are friendly and knowledgable. The main housekeeper made our visit really special by providing a second rocking chair and wine glasses in our room after... More

We booked this inn while we planned a visit to Carlsbad caverns. Most hotels/Inns in Carlsbad were more, so we decided to stay a little farther out and I am sooooo glad we did! The ladies at the Inn were exceptionally sweet! We ended up booking a 2nd day here to take in a few more sites. They gave us... More

We felt more like we were at home than a motel in this setting. The inn is a bed and breakfast style inn in a restored building of downtown Artesia. Our room was charming with hardwood floors, and large windows overlooking the more quaint portion of Main street. Breakfast was simple but decent--oatmeal with several good add-ins, eggs, bagels, jellies,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in May. We arrived late but the innkeeper Sue was helpful and accommodating and made us feel at home. Our stay was at the weekend and we were the only guests on one night so it was quiet. The room was nice and clean and the choices at self serve breakfast were varied. The... More

I picked the Heritage Inn in Artesia because the prices of hotels in Carlsbad were outrages! The Heritage Inn was a neat little place to spend a couple of nights while visiting nearby Roswell and Carlsbad. The room was small, but nice and fit our family of 3. Sue, the innkeeper, is excellent at her job and makes everyone feel... More
