I would say this hotel was average but not a 5 star as we believed. Geared more for the business traveler than tourists. The staff however were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nice but not exceptional. It did have a nice view of the city. Breakfast was included in our price (this is not automatically included so be aware) and was very good. A huge selection and the restaurant had a great view of the rooftop pool and city. However, we were going to dine here one evening (on the Sabbath, everything else in town is closed) and it was going to be VERY expensive. Only the buffet was available. We opted not to eat here. However, there is a small bar/sandwich shop in the lobby that had pretty good sandwiches. Be aware that this hotel is in the City Centre. The beach is a long way off. You would have to take a cab. On the plus side, it is very close to the train station, which is just around the corner. Less than 10 minute walk. I did not see a lot of shopping areas nearby either, but maybe I just missed seeing any. If we visit Tel Aviv again we would problably book a hotel closer to the beach area but since this was December it fit our needs ok as we were away on day tours the two days were were there.

Very nice hotel, great rooms, very spacious, updated and clean.
Good food for breakfast and dinner.
The only very small issue i have is the dining/breakfast room is quite small so when you have a large group like we were, space is a bit of an issue during the meals.
Would definitely return here

Located next door to the Merkaz train station, whole of Israel is at your footsteps. As Israel is small, if you get up early enough, you can use this hotel as your base and take day trips all over. A bus station is there as well, getting in and around T-A is fantastic with busses going everywhere continuously. It has a pool, great breakfast. Many small eating places and shops dotted around, so I love coming here. I would say that the hotel rooms need some maintenance, but that is a very minor criticism.

Regardless of the current situation that is happening in Israel, my review of my stay at this hotel will remain the same. I traveled to Israel last week for my birthday with a friend and stayed at this hotel. The only perk to this hotel is that it's next to the train station and near the Diamond District. The rooms that are advertised are not the rooms that you will receive. The hallways were dark, dingy and hot. The Deluxe Twin Bed room that we book was just a regular room with two twin beds pushed together. Some hotels think by placing caulking over mold that it will suppress the problem. It certainly will not. The bathroom was covered with mold, broken tiles and no ventilation for the excess steam. If I'm able to post pictures of room 906, I would. One of the light fixtures in the room did not work and the coffee pot had mold inside of it. There was no bucket available get ice from the 12th floor. Breakfast is not served until 7am, so if your tour begins at 7am, you'll probably waste money paying for breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my time in Israel as usual and will visit again; however, I will not choose this hotel for my stay.

First time to Isreal, end up spending the first night looking for another hotel.

The bathroom has green mold everywhere with toxic to breathe in the air.

Went to front desk asked if the place can be cleaned, the 18 year old-ish looking front desk clerk ( only staff working after midnight) dimly repeats in Birkenhead English “ I have nothing to do with this”.

Never been in such a bad hotel. Noise, noise, noise!
No insulation from the street. If anyone flushes the toilet in any room of the hotel you will hear it like in your room. You call the night desk to change the room... No answer!

We arrived last night at 11:00pm. Couldn't find the hotel so we called for assistance. The guy sounded bored out of his mind, yet didn't try to be very helpful. We finally parked and the entrance to the hotel was locked. We buzzed once, twice. Three times and finally they let us in. What a dump!! The hotel is under renovations - which was NOT stated anywhere on their website! The elder man who was manning the desk took 25 minutes to check us in! I was exhausted and all l wanted was to get to my room but he took his time and l was forced to just stand and wait until he finally gave us the key cards.

Last night l was going to give the hotel one star. But breakfast this morning was definitely redeeming. Delicious spread, very helpful staff and a beautiful view of the pool and Tel Aviv.

The room was adequate. Big queen size bed, standard bathroom. Only one chair, night stand on wheels, no couch, and no luggage stand.

I do NOT recommend this place right now. Maybe when they finish their renovations it will be nice again.

Leonordo Ramatgan may be the worst hotel in Israel. I was knocked after midnight 1 Am to check my name agai at 1.30 reception came to my room and took photo of passport. Next day I spoke to GM of hotel but non of hotel staff even apologize. The single person at reception is busy on phone and do not know anything, seems to be freshers. For check in or out it takes long time. Hotel is in rundown condition. Only good is it's next to Diamond Exchange.

I have been here a number of times and it never disappoints. We choose this as it is a decent hotel, nice rooms, clean, coffee making, fridge. But it is also next to the train and bus station, giving us access to the whole country. A new exit opened next to the hotel, making the trains even closer. The breakfast is amazing. Dinner wise, it is more difficult as it is in a business area and the restaurants (all very simple) close around 6. But even a 20-30 minute walk will have you in Sarona where there are many nice places. I recognised personel and they recognised us from past visits. But remember, the pool opens after Easter.
