Do not stay here! We had no electricity for several hours in the late evening through early morning. It's a good thing that I brought along a flashlight. Also, we had problems with the lock to our room... We couldn't get in or out of the room. The staff was not helpful, and were disinterested in our situation. The breakfast...

We really enjoyed our stay at Pina Barosh in a beautiful family suite. The suite was spacious, well equiped and things were beautifuly arranged. Pina Barosh owns also an excellent restaurant and offers delicious meals, modern israeli cuisine, a broad range from classic to fancy dishes - just delicious!

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and has stunning views. But the service is non-existent. We had to wait forever for our drinks, and then they brought the food immediately. It was not relaxing. Too bad as the food is decent. We had the smoked goose with potatoes and horseradish sauce, which was very good, and the seafood risotto, which was...

It took 25 minutes until we got the menu. And then 60 minutes till the waitress took the order. We were sitting in the restaurant for 2 hours and didn't got the food yet. The dishes tasted very bad. The toilet look terrible... They have an incredible view and the place is gorgeous but the place is just frustrating... Not...

We stayed here for one night on our way to the Golan. The room was big, airy, and really well decorated, bathroom also nice, but what made this such a pleasant stay were little touches like cookies and milk left for us in the fridge; plus super-friendly staff and the wonderful restaurant, where we had a delicious supper and amazing...

Pina Barosh is located in the historic Galilee town of Rosh Pina north of the Galilee. The building is an old stone house. They have a number of rooms about a small courtyard, and a large terrace over looking the Hula Valley where meals are served. Breakfast was typical Israeli style and quite good. We didn't try the bistro food...

A wounderful retreat for couples. A very nice boutique place to stay with a great view of the area. Rooms had a early Hann look. Breakfest was excellent (you can yake whatever you want from the restaurants menu) Downside: old TV in room. Room needed some repair (open electrical outlet) Some rooms most pass through restaurant .

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
'Pina-Barosh’ is a family boutique domain at the picturesque restoration site of the artsy village Rosh-Pina. The stone building overlooking the wide Hulla valley, Golan Heights and Mount Hermon, was established in 1876 by Josef Friedman, the family's Great Grandfather, known as ‘Josef the Effendi’, and its upper floor is still occupied today by the sixth generation of the original settlers. The ground level of this unique building was once used as the farm livestock yard and been restored by Nili Friedman in 1991. Today the domain offers seven distinctive rooms, the reputable chef restaurant Shiri Bistro conducted by the daughter Shiri Friedman, and a professional Wine Bar specializes in the boutique local wines and wine tours of the Galilee and the Golan. ... more   less
