We came in April as a family of four. The rooms were ready only an hour and a half after promised check in. Bad start but we overcame. Than came the rooms. The rooms are old and horrible. The room's floor is loose, the shower is filled with water and you need a kayak when you take a shower. The...

We stayed a weekend at Manara lodge. The hotel/B&B is basic and clean, but a bit pricey in our opinion. PROs: 1. Great shower and AirCon (relevant as it gets very cold at night). 2. Each room is equipped with a kettle, sugar, tea, coffee and 2 glasses, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. 3. The price...

I stayed there with my hiking group. It was fine as a place to shower, sleep and have breakfast before heading out for another day. There was plenty of hot water, decent towels and coffee facilities. Beds were comfortable enough and the rooms appeared clean. Breakfast was very good although not everything was brought out at the same time. By...

We booked two rooms for two nights, and then two days before our arrival we decided to cancel the second night because we had found another place we were interested in. We called and the woman who answered said sure, but that she would have to do the actual cancellation the next day. We therefore booked another hotel for the...

We had a wonderful 3-day 2-night stay at this kibbutz lodge. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially sitting out on the patio gazing over the entire Hula Valley and viewing the Hermon right across the valley. TIP: Reserve a month in advance and get one of the two rooms that have the wide open view. The view is...

Stayed in the Kibutz Lodge with the family during our summer vaccation. I rated the stay as very good because of the following: 1. The climete (August is practically impossible in Israel- almost everywhere) due to it's high elevation the Kibutz cliamet is good. 2. All the manara cliff extreem atraction are free of charge, and part of the deal....

First and foremost, Manara Lodge is not in, or near to, the city of Tiberias, as shown on header. Actually, the two places are 60 kilometers (almost 40 miles) apart. Kibbutz Manara is located on top of the Upper Galilee mountains, in the Northern end of Israel, right on the Lebanese border. After we cleared this issue, let's talk a...

I have stayed at Kibbutz Manara country lodge for over 10 years and unfortunately things have gone downhill. The views are spectacular, the rooms are simple but clean, the breakfast is your average israeli breakfast, and there are nice lawns around the rooms. but sadly the kibbutz seems to be emptying out and as a result the place feels neglected,...
