To be honest, I was quite disappointed when I arrived at the hotel. There were not enough spaces to park. I booked the hotel because it said it is a 4 star hotel which clearly not. I would say it is a 3 stars hotel condition. The room was clean and big enough to stay. Shower was good and there are lots of place to eat and drink around. Easy to find and accessible.

We had a terrible experience here. I can not recommend this hotel for anyone. First of all the rooms were not remotely like the photos on their website. Completely misrepresented. The room was shabby and overlooked an actual trash heap. We had four adults in a room with two queen beds, and they would only give us 2 bath towels. When we asked the desk for another two towels they only gave us face towels. How are four people supposed to share two bath towels? When I went and asked again and calmly and quietly asked for two more towels, we were told no, we should provide our own towels, and we were rude for asking. What kind of hotel treats a guest this way? It was absolutely unacceptable. Don’t patronize this hotel. It is shabby and they don’t understand the meaning of hospitality.

The photos are NOT representative. The rooms are dated, the beds are like wooden planks, the furniture was chipped, the wallpaper peeling, shower not working correctly and also leaks. Refused to give us more than two towels for four people. The “Hollywood Suite” is where we stayed and it is so underwhelming it’s ridiculous. I don’t know how it got such great reviews.

Located at the waterfront, so nice walk or jog at nice weather. Quite a lot of small restaurants outside within walking distance. Staff speaks quite good English. Spacious and clean room. They have a rooftop terrace but it was closed during my stay, probably it was not warm enough.

We booked a seaview room for a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 kid) and they refused to provide us bath towels for 3 ppl. The hotel staff at the reception stated that we should use 1 bath towel and 3 hand towels. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was not cheap. Truly ridicilious hotel service. There were much better hotels around which were much cheaper and facing the beach. I will never book this hotel ever, if I decide to come back for my next visit.

We stayed here for quite cheap at the height of the busy summer season. They didn't allow us to check-in early even if we offered to pay for it because it was so busy. Like many people have said, it was incredibly close to the beach, I think perhaps closest to the beach of any of the hotels to the west of the beach. The rooms were much better than I expected. Nothing too special, quite basic, but clean and quite modern. It didn't have a run down feel at all. The blankets and pillows were very soft, but the mattress itself wasn't plush, (but again, for the price, I wasn't expecting anything amazing. It was perfectly adequate for what we paid for.) The pillows were pretty high for us, so we didn't sleep that well. One our last night, we resorted to using the blanket on the other bed as a pillow. They gave shampoo and soap and replaced our towels and sheets. They also offered bottled water and a coffee pot with several tea bags, which was nice. The staff were relative friendly. Two complaints, however. One, don't look under the beds. They definitely don't clean that area. It was dusty and dirty. Two, the water pressure and temperature was strange. One minute you're having a warm shower, then the water pressure suddenly drops. Then the water pressure suddenly bursts with cold water, and then it goes back to normal, but this time with scalding water. My showers were quite short. Hopefully this isn't a hotel-wide problem because the proximity to the beach really makes it a great place to stay.

The hotel is perfectly well located in front of the beach. This is the big plus. The rooms are ok - nothing more nothing less. Confortable and spacious and there is also a minibar. The hotel offers nothing to customers: no laundry, no room service, no conciergerie... The receptionists are quite cold, but they help and it was sufficient. The breakfast was allright, although a bit messy and stressed out. But it was good. There is also a rooftop which was nice. The price we paid was very competitive so I cant complaint. I would envisage to stay here again solely for the location and price. It’s an OK hotel, which could use a bit more of client service/customer orientation. The cleaning lady was very sweet and devoted to doing her work well, rooms were clean and AC worked really good.

We arrived at dusk and this location is about 30 minutes drive from the Jeju airport. We had some difficulty finding it, as they have TWO names and the front of the hotel only says "Ebbenezer". Luckily we had a photo of The Artstay and identified the location! We arrived and went for a nice dinner at one of the famous Jeju bbq black pork restaurants around the corner (highly recommend!). The hotel staff had limited English but tried their best to help with questions. The rooms were spacious and clean. My friends had standard rooms with views of the adjacent buildings, but I had an ocean view room and it was lovely. I would highly recommend the upgrade if you can afford to! There is a convenience store and beer bar downstairs and a lovely cafe on the water across the street for coffee and pastries. The hotel is clean, across from the beach/bay, and a good deal for the money. Some reviewers stated disappointment at the lack of spas, balconies, etc, but this location is on par or above all the properties in the area. I love a good spa, but you have to remember what you are paying here!!

4 stars are much too high, the hotel is just a uncreative concrete block (name: art stay) and offers nothing further (spa, balcony, rooftop just in summer (not in June!?) or nothing green around. We do not recommend this hotel, check for one of the small guest houses with Korean character and good food! This hotel is perfect located in the bay with beautiful, not crowded beaches and interesting Korean and international restaurants, but it’s anyway much too expensive. The cleaning and service is not satisfying ( black hair everywhere, dust, the coffee not filled everyday, a awful smell after cleaning,...). The hotel offers a breakfast, but we never tried, we suggest to have breakfast in one of the small coffees, the hotel breakfast in this category is not worth to be in Korea. The service desk can not answer any question, they try to help, they also understand a bit English, but their ability to give tourism information is very limited. Strange, the hotel has 2 names: the Art stay & Ebenezer. Do not book this Hotel, except you expect not so much from much money. stay) and offers nothing further (spa, balcony, rooftop just in summer (not in June!?) or nothing green around. This property was very disappointing, overall I would not recommend this hotel. Initially I was concerned as it appears they go by and use several names for this property: The Artstay, Golden Tulip and the Ebeneser, this made it difficult to find as the signage outside is not for the Artstay as I had booked. Another disappointment was the fact that they have closed the rooftop lounge that is heavily used in images to promote the property, the front desk told me “it sometimes opens in August if we’re busy enough “. The one saving grace was the location and view my side ocean view room offered. Pros - location is excellent - decent price - free parking - view Cons - confusing hotel that goes by many names - rooftop lounge doesn’t open - terrible firm bed - poor room conditions (dirty carpet, poor maintenance) - only one towel provided for a three person room Overall: Book a nearby hotel as the location is excellent, but avoid this hotel.
