The staffs are so friendly and kind. The lady at the counter in charge of after hotel duty from 23 to 25 January 2023 were so helpful, not only help to find us the places of interest and even advised what to do during heavily snowing day. During checked in and out, she even helped to carry our big luggages alight and aboard from taxi/car. The morning mid-age male staff at counter helped me a lot on 25 January 2023 morning. He tried to book me the taxi and due to heavy traffic that day and no taxi were available, he patiently guided me on how to take a bus to get to airport and to get to car leasing company location so that i could get my car on time. My kids like the Leo Hotel Jeju island very much, their first snowman built here. They even want to come back here again next year. Thanks Jeju Island Leo Hotel so much for the hospitality rendered. regards, YX L…
Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and bathroom were clean. Good spread of food and beverages for breakfast. Within walking distance from my eateries and shops. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in Hotel Leo.
This is the best hotel I've stayed in Jeju for the entire trip! The location is great, with close proximity to the airport and shopping street, with lots of cafes, bed and pillows are super comfortable, and the best part is the service by Helen! One of the rare hotels where all staffs could speak English, Helen went above and beyond the level of service by greeting us with a big smile when we checked in, went over to the lift to press the button for us, and even when we were checking out, she could address me by my name when I was walking to the reception. It was a nice ending to my entire trip and I was glad that I chose this hotel for my final night!
We stayed 4 nights in the suite for 3. Paid 685,000 won in total. Spacious suite & bathroom. Clean. Excellent WiFi. Staff polite & helpful. Plenty of restaurants around the area. Shopping street close by. Convenience store next door. Bus stop just outside hotel. The steam closet in the room really helps to freshen the clothes every day!! Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
Exceeded my expectation. The front desk staff along with housekeeping and maintenance staff were polite and friendly from the beginning until the end. The room was large, the AC worked well, the bathroom was immaculately clean and without odor, the bedsheet was clean, Netflix was available, and the room was quiet. The bed and the ambiance of the room were so comfortable and inviting that I decided to spend more time at the hotel to relax. I am relieved that I did not just focus on the negative review because this hotel is not old. Definitely a bargain deal! The check out was simple and they were able to reserve a taxi which came within 2 minutes. So efficient and helpful! Thank you!
Poor maintenance of hotel facilities but good location (near airport and plenty of food options) and reception counter staff who can speak adequate English to provide directions. The newly opened rooftop bar serves very delicious food and drinks but unfortunately no desserts. I paid for a king-size bed. It was just 2 beds joined together with a VERY OBVIOUS gap between the two beds. The reception staff said that in Korea, king-size beds means 2 beds joined together and the obvious gap is suppose to be felt. The gap is so obvious that if you cannot smoothly roll from one side of the bed to ther other, because you will somewhat fall into the gap. Why the heck would I order a room with a king-size bed just so to fall into the gap in the middle of the bed? Listening to the reception staff Helen's explanation about king-size beds in Korea makes me wonder if the hotel treats guests as idiots. To be fair, Helen offered to change me to a queen-size bed (I paid for a king-size) but she informed me 2 mins before I stepped out of the hotel and I had to make a decision to pack up my things within the next 5mins. Whatever good impression that I had with Helen in checking me in and giving directions kinda became negative at that point. Hotel Leo, please do not treat your guests like this, we also pay good money to stay in your premise. Other than that, the bed frame was peeling, one of the pillow cases had a foot mark and the aircon suddenly stops in the middle of the night. Reinforces the point about poorly maintained facilities. I cannot say much about the view from my 7th floor room as my room had a view of... another building's wall. I guess the hotel was trying to use another building's wall to block out the summer sun's heat from my room. On the other hand, the location of the hotel is excellent. Especially for travellers going to and from the airport (4400 won per way by taxi or 1200 won per way by bus). It is also near plenty of really nice foods like black pork BBQ, Makchang BBQ, raw sashimi and a specialty tofu shop. For those who like shopping, within walking distance is Innisfree, faceshop, Olive Young, Planet Jeju, etc. For those who still need to do a on-arrival PCR test, Halla General Hospital is 5mins walk away. In addition, the hotel location is great for going to tourist spots like Dongmun Market (about 8000 won per way), O Sulloc (2400 won by bus per way or 45000 won by taxi per way) and Lotte Mart (1150 won by bus per way or 4500 won by taxi per way). To be fair, the reception staff's English were one of the better ones that I've experienced on the island. They were also very helpful in giving directions. It is a pity that the physical facilities of the hotel is poorly maintained. I hope the hotel can look into this review so that it will not be overshadowed by the numerous other hotels surrounding this hotel.…
Good Hotel, but the most memorable aspect was the staff. In particular Front Desk manager Helen Cho who checked us in. Unbelievable personality and such an asset for the hotel. She helped us out with everything, from information about good restaurants to getting a good trusted driver for a few days. perfect example of how excellent staff can make an average hotel great! Good location with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance also helped.
Our family of 5 stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights and we had a very enjoyable stay. Everything from the fantastic location, the cleanliness and comfort of the big rooms, the very affordable and good buffet breakfast spread, the free parking and the excellent service. Special shout out to Helen who attended to us from check-in and ensured all our needs were attended to throughout the stay. We had a lot of challenges with communication in Seoul and Jeju but Helen spoke excellent english which was a welcome respite. She made recommendations on where we can visit as well as good restaurants in the area. As we were required to undergo PCR tests as part of our travel requirements Helen helped us communicate with and check with the hospitals to ensure they are authorised as well as get us the information on how and where to take the tests. She even messaged us on her off day to ensure we get the information we need. Will definitely stay there again if we go back to Jeju.…
It doesn't look like much from the outside and the lobby looks tacky with the big statue in the middle. But the room is spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was perfect for a night before an early flight out as it's only a couple of kilometers from the airport. The surrounding area is a bit shady and parking (like all other hotels in that area) is a pain. Great base if you're traveling without a car though.
The most memorable hotel in Korea. Good location, accessibility and great staffs. Especially I would never forget the man who work in the morning. Unfortunately I can't remember his name, but his hospitality gave me unforgettable memories. I couldn't say to thank to him because he looked so busy on the day of check-out. If I go to Jeju Island again, I will definitely stay there again and say "thank you".
