We arrived here and the hotel says that we cannot use the pool because of COVID!!!! HOWEVER WE CAN EAT NEXT TO THE POOL!!! I don't know what is wrong with this hotel, but apparently you can catch covid in the pool on the rooftop but not catch the covid in the restaurant ON THE ROOFTOP. DONT PAY TO GO HERE. Yet, they promote their hotel as a place with rooftop pool. So if you go there to use the pool, you better not waste your money here.

After a long flight n short stop in seoul, we finally arrived at Grabel hotel in jeju for 3 days 2 night trip. Room is good and breakfast is excellent eventhough we need to wait as the place is not too big. We did not use any facility as we on a tour. But hotel is nice and recomended to stay while in jeju

We stayed here for 4 nights in a room fronting the ocean, while my in-laws had a city view room with a partial view of Hallasan. The hotel was clean, spacious comfortable and the amenities were perfect. The rooftop pool, lounge and bar offered really fantastic panoramic views of the ocean and some of Hallasan behind. There was a convenience store right next to the hotel, and a Daiso and quite a number of eateries just a 5-8 minute away. There are two public bus stops (one right in front of the hotel and the other, that has a bus to the airport, a right turn from the hotel). We had a memorable stroll along the coast on the boardwalk across the street from the hotel (apparently it's part of the Olle Trails too) - watching the sunset here on the rocks there was phenomenal, though the sunset sea view from our room was also equally stunning. Loved this place!

Travelling as a family (6 adults and 1 baby) so we stayed in 2 deluxe(?) rooms (1 double bed and 1 single bed). The room was spacious, amenities are in place. Very close to convenience stores and many local food stalls. Sadly the local restaurants close too soon (after 6 or 7 pm) and the only thing opened were Lotteria and a restaurant selling alcohols (not our choice but when we visited there to ask for menu the lady was pretty nice), so 2 nights in a row we ate something from Lotteria and we were quite happy with the selection (try the beef burger and chicken strips). Since we didn't spend a lot of time in Jeju (just two nights), we had a night stroll to the Lotteria and it was quite windy. The street in Jeju is not as crowded as other cities we visited (Busan and Seoul) and it was nice to just walk around the area. The breakfast tho... was scrumptious. They had buffet consist of noodles, rice, local side dishes, breads, salads (they had FRESH SALMON EVERY DAY). And as I remember, if you pay a day before, you get a discount for the breakfast, so it was nice (normal price 17,000KRW, discounted 15,000KRW). The reception staff was quite helpful, and they speak adequate English. Overall, it was a nice hotel and experience and we wouldn't mind staying there again.

The nitty gritty: The hotel is located not too far from the airport and offers complimentary parking. The property itself is very clean as are the rooms but during the cooler months, they set their temperature to a warm setting and if it just so happens to be hot on a particular day, good luck as your room will feel like a sauna. You cannot control the temperature settings at all. Upon notifying the front desk, they did absolutely nothing and the other guests had the same complaint. Luckily it was a short stay but I wanted to leave the moment I stepped into the room. No way would I ever consider staying here again and if you have the choice, opt for a better hotel.

Good: Near the airport, staff were helpful in helping guests with calling a taxi. The room I stayed in was sufficiently well furnished. Bad: The room was very dim. Breakfast selection was more catered to Korean breakfast and less international breakfast. There were hundreds of TV channels but mainly Korean channels and there was no TV guides. Spent a lot of time getting used to the TV.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Overall, I would give this hotel a miss the next time I visit Jeju island. The room was quite dimly lit as compared to other hotels i stayed while in Korea, and the light sensor near the door was spoilt so the door area was dark. The hotel didn’t allow guests to switch on the air conditioner even though it was past winter and the room was pretty stuffy and humid. The window was able to open but it was restricted to a small gap and thus not much cold air could come in, resulting in the lack of air circulation. Breakfast had a mix of Korean and western cuisine, but the variety were not much and it wasn’t very nice. The hotel staffs had a lack of English knowledge and thus it was quite hard to communicate with them. Housekeeping forgot to provide us with bottled water and didn’t understand our request when we talked to them in English and they didn’t bother to understand us either.

Family overnight stay with three in the room was just enough space with views of the coastline. Beds comfortable, bathroom amenities clean and linen fresh. Breakfast buffet provided a wide variety of choices which ranged from continental, full English to Asian style breakfasts. Pleasant coastal walk across the road from hotel to take in the views.

We booked a family room and stayed for 5 days in December 2018. On the first 2 days of stay, we had to call the front-desk to request for more shampoo and shower gel as only 1 bottle was provided each. No make up room signage was provided in the room and we had to call for consecutively 2 days to remind front-desk to make up room. The signage was only provided after we requested specifically on 3rd day. The bath tub in the room did not have any stopper and we had to request from front desk. The front desk officers are not as fluent in English compared to some other hotels that I stayed in Seoul and Busan.

We booked a Korean style room with heated floors and mats to sleep on the floor. It was very comfortable and the white bedding is fresh and crisp. The highlight of the room is the bathroom with fully automated bidet, walk-in shower, heated floors and amenities provided. The downside is lack of hooks...Nowhere to hang clothes (except in small closet) and nowhere to hang wet towels for reuse. A small clothesline or row of hooks in the bathroom would be appreciated. The location is great since we rented a car. Without a car, I think it would be inconvenient... but really, IMO travel in Jeju without a car would be hard (except group tour travel). The lack of hotel guidebook in English was also a bit inconvenient. There was no info provided about the pool hours, so we had to ask at the front desk (pool hours are 1-10 pm). Also, no info on room service or if the two bottles in the mini fridge are complimentary. Drinks and snacks were no problem though, as a GS 25 and CU convenience store are on either side of the hotel. Overall, for the price, location and quality, I would recommend the hotel.
