We would rate The Grand a 4-4.5 star business hotel. We appreciated the bed and bedding in The Grand - 2 good pillows for each guest, having just come from another hotel which provided a miserly thin flat pillow for each person, only days ago. Prompt service in the change of room was rendered when we had weak wifi access.... More

That the Grand Hotel is listed as the 2nd best of 37 hotels in Daegu is hard to believe. Its location is not particularly great. Check-in after midnight was quick but not especially friendly. My room was large but looked worn and drab. The carpets were frayed and stained. The furniture looked like something between used Ikea and second-hand store.... More

They name it Grand but it actually is not. I couldn't find toothbrush nor the paste in bathroom. I did found it inside a drawer with some note. Well, I have to pay KRW4000 for brush and 1000 for paste? Thank god I brought my own. I've been in Osaka, Fukuoka, Beijing, Shanghai, Jakarta, Solo, and this is for the... More

This hotel, in a major city, is struggling to reach my "average" rating. Although the beds were reasonably comfortable, the rooms are not air-conditioned (at least in April) and were insufferably hot. Complaints to the desk produced only advice to open the window, but the window, which is hinged at the bottom, only opens far enough to allow a little... More

I stayed there for a night after visiting some tourist spots in another city and then continued with a walk around for shopping and moved on to Busan. The hotel room charge includes a buffet breakfast on the fifth level where the eatery was not large but the table arrangement was not packed and the food available was of a... More

I stayed here for one night and as overnight accommodation goes, it was fine. The room was clean and a good size, and on one of the higher floors, so it was quiet and got enough natural light coming in. Check in was easy as was check out, and the staff were very helpful and quick at getting taxis from... More

I can't review much, since I only stayed for a night. It was an okay experience, no complaint. Wi fi was good, the bathroom was in decent size, although no toothbrush and toothpaste were provided. I was alone, but the room given was with 2 beds. I liked the TV channel Menu, as it was quite informative and comprehensive.

I spent 3 nights at the Grand hotel in Daegu for business. Overall ambiance was a bit "stiff" and "lackluster". I have to say staff was not very helpful and hospitable. The room was standard and minimal (in comparison to the other 4 star hotel I stayed a few nights prior). There was no electronic toilet. You should bring an... More

Quite a disappointment for a four star hotel. The wallpaper is peeling and bathroom tiles have black spots on them. I was inform the rooms are on central heater and at night my room temperature is at 29Celsius although it is racing outside which is too warm for me to sleep at all. The list of tv channels is however... More

Short stays are fine so you won't be disappointed. When you spend more than a couple of days there you will soon become iritated by the cigarette smoke coming through the air con. cleanliness of the toilet wasn't what I expected but I got over that soon enough. Overall the rooms are decent but not to the standards for this... More
