We had three young children and had booked two rooms. Although we couldnt get connecting rooms, the Manager at Front Desk, Ms Keum made sure that we felt welcomed from the moment we stepped into the Hotel. She was very accomodating, which ensured that the rest of our stay was pleasant, with the facilities and the breakfast very pleasant and enjoyable.

Hilton Gyeongju is popular with families, evident by the number of children we saw at the morning buffet. The service was excellent from check in until check out. As the pool and fitness center are only free to use for guests staying two or more nights, it’s probably not worthwhile to stay for one night if bringing children. The heated pool is one of the better hotel pools in Korea with respect to size. Breakfast spread was decent but seating was not sufficient to handle the crowd even on a weekday. The executive lounge food wasn’t anything special (definitely not worth paying extra for) but the top floor location overlooking the lake was great. The family suite was spacious and comfortable for our group of three plus a baby with a good view of the amusement park. Can’t say it’s the best value considering the cost, but it was a great stay.

We stayed in the hilton during the holiday season. The parking is huge so we never hf problems. I def recommand their lunch buffet.
Grilled beef ribs and lamb on the grill station and sashimi and sushi station itself alone are already worth the money.
Staying is comfortable nothing really luxurious or anything just really comfy and clean.

This is a very good hotel located in Gyeongju. It is far from the historical sites. However, there is a bus stop close by with regular, comfortable, cheap bus services to the historical area.

The hotel is quite comfortable. I was in a suite. The suite was phenomenal! My suite was in front of the mountains. The bed was spectacular. the living room was very relaxing. The bathroom was really good. It was very very quiet and gets very dark at night. I rested very well! My sister and my brother in law were at a regular room in front of the pond. It was fine too.

Breakfast was fine. Korean restaurant for dinner was really good. Staff was always friendly, professional.

The hotel is kind of massive and it was packed with mainly Korean tourists as this was the time for one of their main celebrations. However, people from Korea behave really well and despite of how crowded it was, I did not feel uncomfortable. The staff was very professional. The lobby is huge. The rooms are well-isolated from noise.

My suite was modern and had a discrete luxury ambiance which I liked. I cannot say that this is a exactly a luxury hotel although the prices are high; it is more like a casual, family oriented hotel close to many attractions for children. It is much better than the Hilton hotels in the US or Europe. It is considered by many as the best hotel in the area. I like it.

Concierges were very good!

Wow, we just wrapped up our best stay ever at the Four Seasons Seoul and were subjected to this crap. This place certainly made me miss the FS! Everything the FS did right this place did wrong.

The rooms and facilities are dated and growing quite tired. They unexpectedly told us at check-in that the pool, fitness center and other facilities would be closed the next morning. We were only staying one night so we never got a chance to use any of the facilities! The room rates are also some of the highest in the area so why am I even paying those rates if I’m not getting the benefit of using the facilities? I’d gone with a cheaper local brand if notified about closure beforehand.

Elite recognition was also extremely poor. We booked two rooms for 5 people (was traveling with my GF’s family) and was told my diamond benefits only applied to one room, so we could only get one room upgraded, have 2 people use the executive lounge and 2 people go to breakfast. What?! Even though it’s not officially published policy, I’ve never had issue at any other hotel in getting diamond benefits applied to all rooms booked under the same reservation. How are we supposed to use a benefit if it only applies to 40% of people in the group we’re traveling in? If they told us this beforehand, I would’ve had my GF book the 2nd room under her name as she’s Gold so at least SOME benefits would’ve been applied to the 2nd room. Absolutely unacceptable.

The location is also actually poor and 30 minute drive to downtown Gyeongju where the attractions are.

There are not many international hotel chains available in the area and we had a comfortable stay at Hilton.
Breakfast buffet was good and complimentary for gold members but was busy during peak hours on the weekends but the lineup went pretty quickly.
There is a charge to use the pool which is pretty standard for Korea but as a gold member, it was free to access. The pool was very crowded on the weekend with lots of families with children.
The location of the hotel was fine and we could easily get taxis to go sightseeing. It isn’t very close to many of the main attractions but taxis were inexpensive and easy to get. We walked one day from Expo and it was a nice and pleasant walk.
Staff were attentive and helpful and remembered our room number. They also allowed a late check out as a gold member.
Our room was facing the lake and had a balcony. It was comfortable but cleaning could be improved. There were some watermarks in the bathroom and mirrors were not cleaned properly.

The location is desirable, being right next to Lake Bomun and an easy walk to the amusement park and convenience stores. The bus stop, for travelling into the historic city of Gyongju and the train station, is also close by.
All members of staff were genial and helpful.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I was given a generous room upgrade, full buffet breakfast for two, a welcome amenity and access to the Executive Club Lounge.
Our suite was very comfortably furnished and offered terrific views of the surrounding countryside, the lake and amusement park.
Breakfast in the restaurant was very appreciable with a selection of international foods, Korean delicacies and an egg and noodle station.
In the evening, the club lounge had great offerings, which changed nightly, including the usual cheese platter and cold cuts as well as salads and three hot dishes.

The hotel advertises itself as a luxury getaway at the lake. I’m pretty it was- at least 10 years ago. Nothing particularly wrong with the property, but it is rather aged, the room smelled musty and of cigarettes, the curtain had a biggish tear and the overall impression was pretty dark. I think my biggest complaint is that the price is rather steep for what it is actually worth. Room rates are high, food is expensive and why do one has to pay for the pool -as a hotel guest?! Service was lacklustre, the friendliest person was the cleaning lady.

This was a nice, well-maintained property but not really convenient to primary tourist attractions or dining establishments. We had our own transportation, so touring historic Gyeongju was not a problem. Our access to the Executive Lounge provided a good alternative to distant, outside restaurants. The Hilton Gyeongju appeared primarily interested in catering to business larger gatherings. Their outdoor swimming pool looked very inviting, but the temperatures were not.

There was none of service nor welcomed as Hilton honors guest at any stage. 3PM checkin however even you arrive hour early you shall expect checkin after half hour late normally. You also need pay pool access.
Nevertheless, hotel itself is okay. It has fun outdoor pool you need to pay a lot. And nice poolside snack that charge you a lot either. Average breakfast buffet, which is just worth the money you pay.

It should be about 20-25 min. Not sure exactly since I rented a car. I recommend taxi everywhere since taxis are quite affordable in Korea. 20 min taxi should be around 12,000krw. Download Kakao Taxi app on your phone. It works kinda like Uber taxi.
