I booked the suit of this hotel through agoda. I'd like to say "don't ever book this hotel's suit." First of all they have shown a Jacuzzi in photos. Actually that is broken and you can only use the shower in it. No hot water if there is rain. You have to ask everything from the crew and they are...

What a great place. Great rooms in a great location. 5 minutes in a tuk tuk from the beach yet it sits in the most beautiful countryside with monkeys, squirrels and birds of all kinds everywhere you look. The best part however was the service from team of staff led by Thushara. Nothing was too much trouble and they went...

This is around 4 kms from the main road , in the wilderness , beautiful location , peaceful . The rooms are big , bigger than what was expected . The gardens , swimming pool and the breakfast zone gives one a feeling of staying at a resort. The place is run by two people from London . We had...

Arrived here this week. Booked a double room, were told there were no double rooms only triple and a triple was more expensive. We argued the matter and got a triple for the same price however they should not have accepted the booking if they didn't have the room. Nice pool, lovely staff, breakfast was good too.

Fort Edge Retreat is a excellent small hotel with swimming pool, consisting of only dozen rooms distributed over the bungalows. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, located on a small hill overlooking the rice fields. Close enough to Unawatuna Beach, which can be reached by tuk-tuk and away...

We had an excellent 3 day stay at Fort Edge retreat. The new Sri Lankan manager went above and beyond to make us welcome - we were treated as guests rather than customers. The chef is excellent, cooking from fresh ingredients only. His Sri Lankan breakfast was the best we had in a month of traveling round the coast. The...

The villa's were really spacious and clean. The owners are English and always there to answer your questions, help with anything you ask for and they created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The place has a really nice pool with a beautiful view. We planned to stay 2 night but in the end stayed 4. The hotel is located in...

Me and my husband stayed here with our 2.5year old daughter. The place (its views, the pool, location from attractions, its natural beauty, the excellent rooms and facilities) speaks for itself, the photos really are as good as they look. The thing that really made our stay however was the Team. From the moment our feet stepped out of our...
