Villa Templeberg is absolute bliss! Combined with friendly staff, divine decor and the most incredible pool in the whole of Sri Lanka (check it out for yourself), I would recommend Villa Templeberg to any couple or family.

This place was incredible and I'd happily go back anytime. The staff were polite and always happy to help, the view was lovely and don't get me started on how good that pool is! If you're looking to get away to a place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the one I'd be...

We rented the entire property for 4 nights with a group of friends and loved our stay. The villa is beautiful with great rooms, beautiful common areas and a pool to die for. The staff were wonderful, great Sri Lankan food- the potato curry with egg hoppers for breakfast won't disappoint and a welcome break from the bustle of town....

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in Templeberg Villa in June. Located just a short tuk tuk ride out of central Galle, the entry to the estate is marked by a driveway winding its way up an informal hillside garden to a clearing that reveals your first welcoming view of charming Templeberg Villa. During my trip, I visited and...

4 other friends and I were visiting Sri Lanka and stayed at Templeberg in June. We had an amazing time. It was my second time staying there and enjoyed it even more this time around. The villa is beautiful and the location breathtaking. The newly build pool is pure paradise. The bedroom are good size and super comfortable. We spend...

Stayed in the saffron room for two nights and didn't want to leave! The interiors have been beautifully done, the pool is magnificent, and the gardens make for a very private and relaxing experience. We spent so much time in the pool! We ate at the villa with a group one night - the food was delicious with the jackfruit...

We had the pleasure of staying here with our family in May/June. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the relaxing and calming atmosphere that Templeberg provided. We organised transfers through Templeberg and our driver was waiting for us on arrival into Colombo. This meant a stress free arrival. We were greeted by the staff who took us to our...

I do not know what happened to this villa between the pictures you can see and the reality, it seemed to be old pictures or photoshop is a genious. We looked for a relaxing place before flying back to France. We paid 140$ which is more than necessary in Sri-Lanka. For that, you get a charming house in the nature...

Thank you for your feedback. Our aim is to exceed expectations, delight all our customers and deliver good value for money. We are not a discounted and budget accommodation option. On this occasion we were not able to meet your requirements with what you were willing to pay. It is just not possible to charge $35 per person for a...

20 minutes away from Galle by 500rp tuk tuk ride and you encounter this lovely plantation with antique furnishings. Being welcomed by a very friendly and accommodating manager was a good beginning, but....power failures(not their fault), water hose falling out of the bathroom wall, jiggly taps at vessel sink, wrong lunches delivered without napkins (2 cheese sandwiches somehow morphed into omelette?)...

Thank you for your review. We're pleased with how you were welcomed, your first impressions, observations on the historic nature of the property and the comfort level of the bed. But of course we're sorry that during your overnight stay you didn't have a few more customer delight moments. We go in to town every day and to clarify we...

Arrived here after a long car journey to check in and have some lunch. The manager informed me they have no menu but they have a chef which you usually can order 2 hours before to get food. That was fine.. I was too hungry to wait so I took a tuk tuk in to galle fort to get a...

We're disappointed to learn of our first poor rating in over 127 reviews and are saddened by your title choice. We don't think your review accurately reflects the three days you spent with us, our offering, location, staff and uniqueness. We accept that it is not for everyone (especially if you prefer to stay in a hotel chain with restaurants,...
