After missing my flight due to a booking error I needed a place to go to find another flight, I searched the web and found this idyllic little hide away. On arrival was offered a welcome fruit juice which was very refreshing, staff spoke great English and were very attentive to the needs of the guests. I had food along with 4 other guest in the evening, food was presented well, came out piping hot and was delicious. Grounds of the villa were very well presented and clean as was the pool. Room was clean and spacious. Food the money I paid for this hotel I didn’t expect the stay to be nowhere near as good as it was. The dogs Janet and Daisy were a welcoming bonus after missing my dog from home. Keep and the good work Palms Villas, I hope tourism continues to increase for you

Gerry was a perfect host, the food was fantastic, cold beers, wine and a pool table to boot. Swimming pool was clean and the perfect place to hang out before a long flight. Huge room with all the facilities you could need.

Spacious and clean room with large bathroom with a plentiful shower. Lovely garden with statues and fountains with refreshing salt water pool.The restaurant had a wonderful Michael Jackson theme with videos of his songs while we ate our dinner. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Billiards table provided lots of fun time. The two dogs were very affectionate. The host and staff were friendly and attentive. A five star stay!

Wonderful villa, with beautiful and well equipped rooms (fridge with beer, coffeemaker etc), huge beds with wonderful organic bed sheets ( every room has another colour), a lovely pool with very clean salt water, a garden with palms and flowers, and an owner who is very helpful (we had a car crash, and he did nearly all the paper stuff with the insurance, car rental company, we couldn't have managed without him). The open air restaurant serves wonderful home made food, cooked by a singhalese woman, who fulfills every wish (spicy? not spicy? Ingredients you like?) GERRY ,the owner, loves and lives his job. In short: five ***** for Gerry and his hotel!!

Communication was excellent prior to arrival. Lovely to get greeted with doggie cuddles on arrival! We only stayed for a short layover after a late arrival but the hospitality was excellent. We were able to arrange transfer from the airport in the early hours of the morning and even a driver to Mirissa the next day. We were very kindly upgraded rooms when we arrived which was a lovely surprise to start our honeymoon in Sri Lanka. Excellent powerful AC in the room. Very clean and spacious. Lovely to have a hot shower after long flight. Mini fridge in the room had beers, coke etc you could have for a small cost. Free water provided in the room was appreciated. Looked like an excellent swimming pool but didn't have time for a dip. Wished we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend for a short stay or even a few relaxing days. Excellent value for money for accomodation and meals. Would definitely stay again when back in Sri Lanka. Thank you again! …

Absolutely loved it here! Accidentally ended up here the night before a flight when I realised I'd messed up my original booking elsewhere, but was so happy I did! Was greeted by the owner and one of the beautiful, friendly dogs. Room was spacious and clean, nice to have a fridge and desk too. Has a pool and resturant so would definitely recommend spending more than one night here, not just as airport transit. They arranged my airport taxi too which was an early one so I was worried about sleeping through my alarm but the owner said he'd wake me up if he could see my light wasn't on, which I was grateful for. Will definitely stay again!

We wanted to spend the day after our arrival at the Palms Villa. The staff was very nice, helpful and hospitable and the atmosphere was very pleasant, so we ended up spending many more days at the place. I highly recommend the home made curries here. Very very tasty.

It was so convenient to stay there before I was leaving Sri Lanka. It is very close to the airport. They gave me tips and were very helpful with the covid test and gave me also other recommendations. The food was delicious and everything was in good condition!

I was supposed to transit one day and to stay at Palms Villa, but due to some flight issues I had to stay a few extra days; and I am really glad I did. The place is really amazing, peaceful, quiet you can hear the birds singing and the room was really neat and clean, I had a great sleep :) Gerrits the owner is a very kind, warm, welcoming and interesting person. It felt more like visiting a friend than staying in a guesthouse. I will surely come back! Oh yes and the food is AMAZING especially the fish with the cheese sauce :)

One of the nicest places I've stayed at in Sri Lanka. Really pleasant, the rooms are big and clean, the staff is super nice and makes great meals, the adorable dogs (Janet&Daisy) are just a treat to be around, and Gerry the owner is really caring, friendly, and a fantastic host. 100/100.
