Hotel's Favourite
Stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful visit to this 5* beach hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were outstanding. The hotel is situated about 30 minutes from the airport and is ideally suited to first/last night stayed to travellers visiting Sri Lanka. Whilst we stayed longer I would encoiurage overseas visitors to explore Sri Lanka and not just stay in one place (however good it was). Definately recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean & comfortable, maybe a little small. The pool was nice, but I would expect a cushioned mattress on sun beds ( considering it’s 5 star ) as very uncomfortable. The food was very nice but there are also lots of good restaurants outside.

We have been here in the past and booked the hotel again especially because of the nice buffet dinner we had enjoyed. But this time we were really disappointed very much: the buffet dinner was offered only at the weekend, the other days have been downgraded (!) to a served dinner. When asking for the dinner buffet during the week too, the (honest and expected) response was that it is only profitable during the weekend when external guests show up! The breakfast buffet - by the way - has been reduced too when compared to our former stay (same argument as before). Furthermore, the overall service was inconsistent: some days a turn-down service was delivered with fresh towels at the evening, some other days nobody showed up. Also, getting a refill of coffee and tea at breakfast was quite difficult: at the end we most often needed to get up and approach one of the staff asking for a refill. On the positive side: the staff has been very friendly and ready to help. Summary: You pay the full price but get only reduced service.…

Great hotel, clean and wonderful staff. Pool area, right on the beach - impressive. Security stopping any one from trying to enter hotel to sell you things from beach. Only down side was the food. Hot Items from the buffet were often cold. Maybe this was just a one off.

Beautiful beachfront property. Nice pool (kids pool was under renovation when we were there) and big grounds. Lovely location . Love the food. Stayed there for one night. Close to airport. Great for our super early flight. Will definitely want to stay again there to enjoy the surroundings.

We visited Sri Lanka for a family wedding which was being held in this hotel. We stayed for a week and with hindsight should have booked for 2 weeks. Food and service are excellent. Rooms are well appointed and serviced daily. Nothing is to much trouble and Heritance Negombo is in an ideal location on the beach but within 30 mins of the Airport. Downtown Negombo is well worth experiencing. Locals are friendly and with reasonable English, are grateful for business and all is good value for money.

We stayed two nights at Heritance Negombo recently for our honeymoon and it was one of the best hotels we both have been to. The food was EXCELLENT! The place was clean , professional and as it was christmas themed, the decos were on point! Everyone starting form the doorman to the barman were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for making our honeymoon experience and unforgettable one! We will definitely be visiting again.. soon!

We stayed here in early November when the hotel was very quiet. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms clean and well furnished. Most have a sea view over the pool. Breakfast is good quality. We ate dinner one night which was of good quality although outside restaurants are cheaper
