Nice hotel. As I type I am experiencing the screams and yelling of the hundreds of children at the school RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. If you want a peaceful morning rest, choose another hotel. The room was fine.

The hotel room is a standard business hotel, but most importantly the bed and washroom is clean. The breakfast is provided with the rate and has quite some variety. Only stayed for a night but I spotted a number of interesting food joints within walking distance from the hotel - worth exploring.

I had an excellent stay at the Sol Hotel and am so happy I chose it. I was visiting family in Hsinchu and was surprised by the quality of the hotel. The rooms are really clean, well-maintained and quiet, and the breakfasts every morning were satisfying and delicious. But the really stand out part of the hotel is the excellent...

This hotel offers just about everything you need in a city hotel, including a large well-furnished room, a varied buffet breakfast, and a good bed. It seems to cater a lot to Japanese businessmen, and the decor had an interestingly Japanese touch, for instance a screen door to the bathroom. But the thing about it that stands out more than...

The hotel was everything one would expect and more. It is located a few blocks from the railway station, and service was neat and efficient. The free breakfast was spectacular. Our room included a large comfortable bed, plus a good sized couch. Curtains were fully opaque.

For location and price you will have to go a long way to beat this hotel. Close to centre for restaurants and shopping and quiet for peaceful evenings. Free wifi which allows multi connections and for business it works very well. Good breakfast is served although no evening meals are available.

I often travel to Hsinchu, Taiwan for work. While most of my coworkers prefer the name brand hotels(Sheraton), I find the older hotels downtown to be the best location. Pricing can be a bit high for this old establishment, but overall a good place if one can get a good deal. The rooms don't look too outdated, but could use...
