The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Every single detail is perfectly thought like bath salt, razors, stationary and even a printer. Breakfast was quite rich but for Europeans it may not be as tempting as a luxury European hotel. Recommended 100%

I had a romantic weekend away with my boyfriend here and we were both impressed by this place! The room was quality with a nice touch of the orient. The buildings and garden are all in proper Chinese style and very nicely maintained. The set meal was just gorgeous and the services were great. It was very relaxing to sit...

The retreat was only 30 years old and recently renovated and managed by The One team. The resort only has 20 rooms (villa style) equipped in high international standard facilities. It is located only 30 mins from Hsinchu HSR station by taxi, quite convenient for us traveling down from Taipei. The hotel has complimentary tour that the staff introduces the...

Trip was specially made to stay in the One Nanyuan just to experience the traditional Chinese architectural style of resort living. Fine Chinese fusion dinning was included in the price. The gardens are meticulously landscaped and the resort offers various sort of calligraphy demo, and spa for relaxation. Service was great, but extremely pricey for the area. However, we enjoy...

Starting from booking the room, the staffs have shown their hospitality towards their quests, phone calls with good manners and considerate notes all represent the quality of its service. Then we arrived at this wonderful place, a garden close yet away from the urban life, where we could indeed feel the good combinations of nature and culture. The smiles we...

I arrived to Nanyuan at night and didn't know what quite to expect. But once greeted by world class staff with hot teas and towels, I knew this place was going to be special. The details are beautiful here - starting with the gigantic Chilean reception desk. Our Japanese style bed was comfortable and I especially love the "tea bath"...

This is a lovely place for a quiet retreat from the city or a romantic getaway. The grounds are just lovely and are fun to explore. It is situated in the hills so there are mountain views all around. There is not a whole lot to do other than the tours of the grounds, but they are in mandarin, so...

Built in the 1980s in the Jiangnan style, the former vacation home of the late Wang Ti-wu (founder of Taiwan's United Daily News or Lianhe Bao), has been remodeled into The One Nanyuan hotel while the beautifully restored main residence is open for private tours for the hotel's guests. The hotel's grounds boast easy walks with peaceful mountain views. Unfortunately,...
