Sleeping boot is the warmest hostel in my whole trip. Owner and helpers were kind and friendly. They gave me a brief introduction of Hualien and helped me planning the traveling schedule! It's a comfortable place. Tidy bedroom and cleaned bathroom. I'll visit again!

Bedroom and bathroom are clean, and beds are cozy. The manager and helpers are very nice and friendly. I will visit sleeping boot again!

After staying at the Sleeping Boot for several times over the years, I can say that it always looks like new. This very nice place is simply very well kept. It's located between the train and bus station and the downtown area, placing both locations in walking distance.

I was initially in a 4-bed mixed dorm with 3 men and the staff suggested if I want to move to a room with 2 girls and 1 boy instead. They are also very knowledgeable on how... More

Sleeping Boot located between the train station and the downtown, it’s a good location for exploring the Taroko National Park and the Hualien Rift Valley. Both takes about 15 minutes walk either to the train station or the downtown. A few restaurants and cafes near the hostal. The hostal has a home-feeling atmosphere, the owner is very nice and hospitality,... More

The hostel is clean and the staff are friendly. Lots of local knowledge and updated information from the staff. The ground floor is a good gathering place to chat with fellow travellers. The singles and doubles room are best for privacy. Within walking distance from train station
